And before you come for me, I know Rhysand is supposed to have darker skin but in my defense since he was initially described as having moon white skin, I started picturing him as David Corenswet so it was too late to change how I pictured him after Under the Mountain lol
He just would play him so perfectly in my opinion. Especially how he looks in Superman with the dark hair.
I’m reading these books for the first time and Mist and Fury was HANDS DOWN one of the best fantasy books I’ve ever read. The build up to Rhys and Feyre getting together was just absolute perfection.
But then I read Wings and Ruin and was sorely disappointed in how their relationship was written. I just feel like there was a lot of missed opportunities to keep building the romance and tension between them. What disappointed me the most was every single time Feyre was in danger or something, Rhysand was NEVER the one to save her. He always got there after the fact. And I wish there was some mild fighting between them just so they could make up but Rhys let everything slide with Feyre.
In book 2 Rhys tells her that he would rip the world apart to get her back if she was taken from him. So I was kinda hoping for that energy in book 3.
But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Feyre and Rhysand in Frost and Starlight! Their relationship was so much more romantic and don’t even get me started on their Solstice night!! It was just perfect. It’s the kind of writing I wanted for them in book 3.
I love all 3 books so much and I feel like Rebecca is just brilliant at storytelling. BUT the one thing I hated is in Onyx Storm when Lynx’s signet manifests as being a shadow wielder. I get it, there has to be a balance, blah blah blah. I just feel like it ruins the specialness of knowing that Xaden and Violet are the first of their signets to be living at the same time in centuries. It bummed me out so much and I hope he’s not part of the story too much so I can pretend that never happened lol

My three year-old son does not sleep good at all. Most nights are split nights. I suspect that he has enlarged adenoids that come and go. Or I’m suspecting possible histamine intolerance that is causing him to not breathe so good through his nose some days. We got sent to ent specialist and his only suggestion is a sleep study and if the findings link him to enlarge adenoids, then he said the only solution is removing his adenoids and tonsils. I don’t want to do this surgery for my son right now, he literally just turned three years old a few weeks ago. Maybe I would reconsider at five years old because from what I’ve researched the adenoids can grow back the younger that you have this surgery, so I don’t want to put him through it unnecessarily if they will just grow back. So has anyone taken their child in for a sleep study and was it helpful? I’m debating on doing the sleep study or just finding a naturopath doctor to figure out a different solution for him.
Like why on earth did she pick this outfit with her boobs about to fall out to go over to his room?? What if one of the guys saw her dressed like this, I’d dieee lol
In the book she goes over after working at the diner in her work clothes which I thought was like ehh, wouldn’t she be stinky from work? So I think a good middle ground between that and this outfit would’ve worked better in my opinion. I get that the point is for her to be uncomfortable so that he could help make her even more comfortable but still this dress is too much lol
I just came across an Insta Thread on someone saying they thought Ella’s acting was horrible and the comments everyone agreed. Obviously everyone has their own opinions but I was surprised to see that. I thought her acting was so good! Especially learning she’s so young. The character is described in the book of showing every single emotion and feeling so clearly on her face and Ella does a great job of that. What do y’all think?
Does Logan have a crush on her in the books? And if so does anything ever come of it?
The first few episodes I was kind of hoping that the love triangle would involve Logan but now I’m fully team Garrett and Hannah lol
I just finished the last episode and maybe I just had too high expectations because I could only watch about one episode a day but I felt kinda mehhh/let down about the last part of it. I loved Hannah’s showcase and that Garret was there but them getting back together at the car after just didn’t hit like I was hoping it would😩
Anyone else feel the same way?? I felt like there wasn’t very much tension or anticipation in the scene, idk maybe it was the dialogue? I’ve loved all their scenes sooo much and watch with so much giddiness but that scene with them is ranking low for me on my favorite scenes of them. Maybe it’s just too hard to beat when they officially get together at the rink when she was singing? Anyways so sad it’s over, I love them so much ahhhhh!
She has no loyalty or respect for her partners! First she cheats on Topper which is like okay that’s fine because she’s a teenager and she falls hard for John B but then the constant flip flopping through the seasons and not talking about how she’s married to literally anyone except just when John B is talking to her?? And poor guy is always so proud to say they’re married. Then after allllll they’ve been through and after he saved her life after getting shot, she cheats on him in one day just because he lied to her once?!?!?! I want to love their relationship but the writing for it makes it impossible, like please show me some loyalty that doesn’t waver and some commitment. It was understandable her being confused and distant after she saw her dad die but to go back to Topper again in season 3 just makes ZERO sense
