I’ve had a few people recommend the Italian Connection - food still good? Does the owner still sing?

First time, Urban beekeeper, NE Indiana.
Before setting up my hive I checked with all our neighbors and they were very supportive and excited about having bees in the neighborhood. No one allergic, no issues. A few months in and my neighbor that was most excited, because he has a large flower garden and said he loves having bees around, is complaining to me that he is getting stung. He does have a large pool, so I’ve made a point of keeping a water source close to the hive as well.

He says that the bees seem to be paying more attention to him than the flowers - buzzing his head and following him around the yard - and he would like me to move the hive further from his fence.

He has a 9 foot privacy fence, and the hive sits 15 feet on the other side.

If I move the hive 20 feet will that really make a difference? He’s convinced the guard bees are coming after him - over the fence on the far side of his yard? I wouldn’t think so? Are my bees just aggressive? I’ve had no problem with them in my yard. They buzz around the flowers and ignore me.

Bees are Italian Pollinos, so I didn’t think aggression was an issue.

edit: I did a complete inspection today - both deeps, each frame. Sure the bees were buzzing, and I did manage a sting on the chin through my screen, but I can’t say they seemed overly aggressive. After the sting they did follow me quite a ways as I was wrapping things up. I was surprised by that. So maybe the guards are patrolling his yard?

Edit2: thanks for the feedback. Im moving them as far as I can and reorienting the hive. Hopefully that little move helps a bit and my neighbor reconciles im trying to help. If I need to, I will look at requeening. Based on my everyday interaction with them being pretty chill, hoping it might be something that passes.

I’ve just finished setting up a PS2 3000 series, Kaico adapter, hdd sata drive, and fmcb running the latest OPL beta. I couldn’t get it to work without the latest beta even though the latest stable should be good for exfat.

Finally able to boot up and have multiple games that won’t recognize my controller, and a few that will. I’ve messed around with various modes - 1/2/6. But those aren’t fixing things.

Sony scph110 controller - so a psone dual shock. Is that my issue?

Something in a setting or mode I don’t understand?
Example games - kingdom Heart final mix not working , but Harry Potter quidditch is.

Do you associate deconstructing as a process of unbelieving and separating yourself from the culture of Christianity, or is deconstruction the process of reaffirming faith but with a different construct?

My friend has a great podcast, Trauma Informed Church Kids - he helps people re-explore and rebuild their faith post trauma. I think what he offers people is great, it just isn’t for me as I have no interest in rebuilding a “new faith” because my journey has brought my to a place where I am not a believer. I find when I get into deconstruction conversations it is usually with people trying to maintain some kind of faith. For me it isn’t possible - you are in or you are out - so I never adopted the identity of deconstruction. I always said Jesus and I just had a conscious decoupling. Poor humor perhaps.

What about you? Does the phrase deconstruction mean something different?

First year keeper. North East Indiana. Installed nuc in May, gave the bees a month and there was lots of activity, queen was active laying eggs, bees were drawing comb on new frames, and they had filled 7/10 frames. I went ahead and added a second box and checkerboarded the frames and here is where I am concerned I made some mistakes.
1: maybe I added the second box too soon?
2: I got the box open and started swapping frames when I realized I had ran out of coated frames. Panicked and decided it was better to put in the uncoated frames and close things up.
3: I’ve had two weekly inspections since and can’t find my queen. Im seeing some larva, but not eggs today. I have several frames with capped brood, but Im worried I broke up the center of the hive. No queen cells today, one that was maybe the start of a practice one last week that I squished. It was the beginning of my inspection so I assumed I’d find her. Saw one video that said one off random queen cups are just practice and to quick them. Dumb?
4: I’m just clumsy. Feeling like im squishing so many bees trying to move frames, or putting the boxes back on. Did better today, but still…

How am I doing? Have I messed up? Just slowed things down?

I love the World Cup. Cheering for USA and was at the send off match at Soldier Field this weekend. I also have a soft spot for Spain since I studied abroad there decades ago and followed them through previous WCs since the USMNT was meh. Big supporter of the USWNT too!
