Australian Developers Question

Hi,
Are there any Australian developers here.
Can you help me explain how the GST works and doing BAS statements etc.
Does Apple just send the app sale proceeds with the GST included and then we need to send that to the ATO ourselves when we do our BAS?
Cheers

App Store Connect App Currency

Hi,
I have AUD selected as my preferred currency on the website but is there a way to see my trends on the App Store Connect app in AUD instead of USD?

Roast my app: TuneLock - practise your instrument to unlock your distracting apps

My story: I'm a high school music teacher. For years I watched students (and honestly myself) fail at daily practice for the same dumb reason: the phone always wins. So as a solo iOS dev I built TuneLock to fix my own problem first.

It uses iOS Screen Time to lock your chosen distracting apps until you've done your daily practice session. Do the practice, everything unlocks, your streak ticks over. There's an emergency release if you genuinely need your apps, and it won't cost you your streak.

To be upfront about pricing (I know the rule): the core loop, practising to unlock your apps plus streak tracking, is free forever, no trial that expires. There's an optional one-time unlock (no subscription) that adds rest days, stats, custom unlock windows and a second ritual. You never have to pay to use the main thing.

Roast away. I especially want it on:

- The Screen Time permission onboarding, which is the scariest moment in the funnel.

- Whether the core idea actually makes you want to practise or just feels like nagging.

- The App Store page: does it sell the value in the first few seconds?

[iOS] TuneLock - a "practise your instrument to unlock your phone" app. Looking for testers and honest feedback on the onboarding.

I'm a music teacher and solo iOS dev. TuneLock uses iOS Screen Time to lock your distracting apps until you've done your daily practice session, then unlocks them and tracks your streak. There's an emergency release if you genuinely need your apps, and it won't cost you your streak.

It's free to try. I'd love testers, and I'm especially after feedback on:

- Onboarding: the Screen Time permission step is fiddly by nature. Does it feel clear, or do you get lost/nervous granting access?

- First-run clarity: within the first minute, is it obvious what to do and why?

- Anything that feels broken, confusing, or off on your device/iOS version.

Happy to return the favour and test yours too.

I'm a music teacher who couldn't stick to daily practice, so I built an app that locks my phone until I do

I teach music for a living and still fell into the same trap as my students: I'd sit down to practise, pick up my phone "for a sec", and lose 40 minutes.

So I built TuneLock. It uses iOS Screen Time to lock your distracting apps until you've done your daily practice. Once you've put your time in, everything unlocks. It also tracks a streak, which turns out to be surprisingly motivating.

It's my first proper solo launch and just went live. Would genuinely love feedback from other builders, especially on the onboarding.
