Maddie from season 4 episode 7 💔

Understandably, the infamous episode from season 4 had been discussed a lot by redditors and youtubers, and honestly, I would like to say that younger Maddie was not/never at fault for what had occurred, especially for the fact that Kelly attacked Abby for her selfish attitude over the secret duet, and her supposed "dislike" toward Brooke and Paige as well. Indeed, Melissa followed Abby's orders and asked for her child's duet not to compete with Chloe and Paige's, but it went crazy when Christi and Kelly accused her and Maddie of lying to her team about that. It was just disturbing, and knowing that the duet was going to cause intense drama between the moms and Abby, the children would not have been present. Sadly, they endured the fight, and Maddie was in emotional distress. The flashback scene in the following episode will always be heartbreaking. The Hylands didn't need Abby, as far as I know. It was obvious that the environment for the children wasn't safe to be around the producers and Abby herself. 😔👎🏻

A scene from season 7 was very sickening

There was a scene where the kids won their dance, "where have all the children gone (part 2)." After the awards, Brynn had an attitude with her mom and then said that her team still beat the irreplaceables. Moments later, the other moms came after Brynn and her mom after Ashlee said about the girls being strippers in front of the kids. (That was before the post where Brynn liked a comment on social media.) Ashlee was right when she stated that the older girls were 14 and 15 years old. However, it was different from the original girls' electricity dance in season 1. Abby was dumb for putting that idea out there for it to air on television. 😠👎🏻

Anyhow, I don't understand why those poor kids had to be surrounded by those dramatic adults in that scene. It wasn't very okay. (I understand why it was intended for entertainment purposes) I felt bad for Ellie for reacting to the older girls and their dance, from what I've seen in her interview. Plus, Lilly wasn't present throughout the end of the episode, so I had no clue. This is my perspective based on what I've seen in clips.

Traditional yellow rice

What are the toppings you like on your homemade yellow rice? I personally liked to go for baby carrots and peas, and/or some pieces of chicken and sweet and sour sauce for some flavor.

Abby benches Kenzie in season 4

I remembered years ago that I watched a clip of Abby benching Kenzie because she couldn't do any improv-acting. When Kenzie was confused and started to cry, Abby and Maddie made fun of her and it was upsetting her. Even Melissa couldn't acknowledge the fact that Kenzie was just 9 years old and she was allowed to have emotions. Her speaking up was a smart choice, and if I were the child, I would've done the same to my mom. Abby was being a jerk as she was to the other girls. 👎🏻😠

The girls who suffered panic attacks is bad

As much as I am obsessed with the girls on dance moms, there were certain times when they felt that they were under so much pressure from their teachers and production. I think in dance, the kids need to adjust to the routine (whether it is a group number or whatever), the timing, the musicality, and stuff. I am no expert on dance, but this is just my observation. Anyhow, I can name some moments where children have anxiety experiences.

  • Maddie forgot her solo in season 2, and that was because it had something to do with Miss. Miller's illness. (according to Mackzboss)
  • Kendall had a few panic attacks in season 4 because of Abby (and Gianna) yelling at her and being harsh on her.
  • Nia forgot a part of her solo during rehearsal on competition day in season 2 or 3.
  • Paige had a panic attack in season 3, and it was due to Abby's horrible behavior toward her in the past seasons.
  • Lilly had a panic attack in season 8 after a rehearsal of the haka dance.
  • Hannah had a panic attack in season 8 when she got picked to do Savannah's solo (this is a deleted scene on youtube.)
  • Sarah G. had a brief panic attack in season 8 when the moms were fighting with Michelle over the drama studio 19 (this was from episode 14), and this was during a rehearsal.
  • Miah from the new era series in season 2 had two panic attacks. The first one was when she rehearsed for her solo, and the second one was on competition day.

This gives me a learning lesson that the shows and the environment are highly toxic and don't benefit the children at all. Feel free to tell me your thoughts in the comments. 🍓🍉🍎

Edit: I also remembered a moment with Sarah G. from season 8.

To anyone who didn't notice, it was random when I was watching Lilly's room tour (2021), but here is Stacey from her childhood. She kind of looks like her daughter because of their faces. Omg. 😮

Now I understand if people still hated her due to dance moms, but it's apparent that she is nice and strict as a parent. I'm not a fan of her, as I am not a fan of Yolanda or the other moms either. Nevertheless, she was adorable in the photo. 💕

As much as I adore Lilly and her gorgeous talent, I can't get over this video because I watched it a couple of times. I can't believe how popular this is and the fact that her speech is so good for an 8-year-old! Her acting in the end made me laugh. She was funny and adorable, but knowing that she is going to turn 18 soon can make me feel emotional. 🥺 Time flies. She will soon make the most of her life since she graduated last year. Good for her! What are your thoughts about Lilly? Maybe her mom Stacey?

What happened in the dark came to light when Kendall was attacked on social media when she was 12. The episode where Ashlee mentioned that was a bit harsh. I found out how fake the scene was until Kendall stood up against a grown woman for her ignorance. To those who may not even know, MackZboss has a video recap about it on youtube. Try to check it out.

It's been a decade since this wild episode came out. Don't celebrate if you don't want to lol! 🎂

Over a year ago, I found out about the show that only streams on Hulu. At some point, however, maybe I wasn't so fascinated by this until I got to see YouTube shorts of the new moms and girls, alongside Gloria/Glo and Kaeli. And while I'll never see the full episodes anytime soon, since I don't have Hulu at the moment, allow me to say what I thought about the girls.

Audrey is pretty and talented, but her attitude for a 13-year-old was normal and not really acceptable. She was the oldest and was going through puberty and stuff. I saw that she was kind to Ashlan whenever she was emotional or upset.

Ashlan is cute, talented, and definitely the next Kenzie (because she eats chips) and Kendall (because of her meltdowns) I don't blame this kid for having a disorder or something, but I think it was her mom who allowed this behavior to be exploited for fame... somewhat.

Mina was the youngest and was so cute. Very talented and sassy, kinda like Asia and Kenzie.

Lily was great and a pretty young girl. Great talent for dancing.

Bellatrix reminded me of Areana from the mini team because of their resemblance. She was also good and was so sweet.

Smiley is beautiful for someone at 10 years old. She looked like she could be a prima ballerina if that's what she is aiming for. She was great.

Lelilah was adorable. Lovely girl for dancing.

Gina was great, but she got "hated" by the girls and moms for being the next Brynn, in my opinion.

Miah was pretty and great for her dancing, but I remembered seeing her panicking in season 2 and it was disheartening. Poor kiddy.

So that's all I got! Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments! 🍪🍪🍪
