Need help with identifying faulty component in board

Board is named mirage electronics AD-1700

Its inside a monitor made in 2006, that apparently sparked. I didnt plug it in ever since the sparking which was a few weeks ago.

Im trying to repair it so i can learn how this works, i found a faulty component but idk how to proceed, all help is appreciated.

Its my first time with electronics so please ask in the comments if i accidentally left out important info.

Help about DIY fixing old electronics

I have a monitor from march 2006, it sparked a few months ago and now i want to try fixing it. I reduced the issue down to a single board but idk how to proceed from there, since its my first time doing something like this and AI wasn't useful at all. Please recommend subreddits related to fixing old electronics, thanks in advance.
