Tips to Crack Regulatory Body Exams

Anyone who has cracked regulatory body exams or even got close to the cutoff, please share your resources. I don’t have money to buy courses. If you can drop your sources down below to help the community or dm me. Any guidance, tips etc are welcomed. It will be my first time appearing for such exam. I have appeared for SSC but level and requirement felt different as compared to regulatory body exams.

Fed up with CA

As the title suggests I am just fed up with current affairs. I basically prepare for banking and regulatory exams (except RBI because I am fed up with CA in basic exams, also, so I think I won’t be able to tackle the RBI level). I tried multiple resources to study, and I feel that could be another reason why I am fed up with it, but I have a genuine reason behind it. In my past exams, I have scored pretty less in this section, so I try to put more efforts and everything starts getting messed up.

First I used to do random current affairs, or I should say marathon current affairs one month before the exam run by the channels such as Studyniti by Kapil Kathpal or Edutap or Anuj Jindal or even Testbook YouTube channel based on the exams I am appearing for. Definitely wrong decision because it gets overwhelming plus exam pressure plus too much of information to retain.

Then I changed my approach and started doing daily current affairs. There are various sources such as Anuj Jindal Spotlight, PIB, RBI daily classes.
I also tried exam genius daily current affairs PDF. Felt good resource and manageable as compared to affairscloud. I have tried affair cloud weekly PDF. The content is 60 pages which I feel is too much for a weekly PDF.

Can someone explain me their approach as to how they tackle this section. I want to score maximum marks with minimum efforts and not getting overwhelmed at the last moment.

QRE Sources

Drop down your QRE sources for exams like IRDAI, PFRDA, IFSCA, SEBI.
Suggest some good resources from where I can study from.
Consider me as a completely newbie in the regulatory body exams. I have prepared for SSC exam where QR levels are on the bit lower side as compared to these exams. I get stuck in puzzles and DI.

I have tried some resources, but it didn’t click.
Studyniti Smriti - Definitely a big no for reasoning. Her puzzle question level always seems on the higher level where she herself gets stuck and then after solving, she’ll act like it’s an easy question, and it took time for me because I was explaining too.

Edutap - I have just attended the marathon section. Felt ok ok. Level felt appropriate but more of RBI oriented. One thing I felt was for hard questions they were explaining in the same way has a hard question should be approached.

Career Definer Kaushik Mohanty - studied from YouTube. Definitely a fun teacher. Couldn’t surely understand if I should be taking the class for the regulatory body exams or not. Probably someone who has given the paper can tell if questions are of appropriate level or not.

Adda 247 - attended few quant classes. Felt okay as a beginner. Questions, where on the easier side? Definitely boosts your confidence. Maybe once you’re comfortable, should switch to something higher, but definitely a good place to start.

English by Nimisha Bansal - Always my favourite. No BS during the class. Editorial class is to the point. Grammar, Granth is way too bulky.

Suggest your sources which I should try and stick too.

Suggestions for learning

Hi all. I’m from BTech background. I was preparing for RBI Grade B & NABARD. I scored well in quant, reasoning, english and current affairs since I was preparing for Banking exams. I scored badly in ESI and ARD papers (static and current).
Can anyone guide me from where I should start these subjects? Kinda clueless and lost. Any resources, books, courses, telegram channels etc suggestions will be really helpful. I have seen videos of different channels such as Anuj Jindal, edutap, CGB mentors but not sure able to differentiate which to pick because I have no idea who is teaching well and giving quality content because I have no idea what kind of questions are asked.

As the title says I am looking for bore brush recommendations in India. After watching so many reels and posts explaining how bore brush is beneficial, I thought of using one. I didn’t had a great experience as it was explained in the reels. Rather, I felt irritated seeing 4-6 bristles coming out in every 2 to 3 strokes. Didn’t quite feel like I am combing my hair rather. It felt like I am scratching my beard or head. I tried urban mooch and rubab men which are top in the list in India.

Did anyone else faced the same or is it just me?

Any suggestions? I don’t want the highly imported one which are off 12K - 25K.
Under 1K works for me.
