I’ve recently realised I need to combine my pensions, but there are so many companies offering pension transfer/consolidation services that I have no idea where to start. What should I prioritise when choosing a company to combine my pensions with?

I’ve also discovered that there are “ready-made” pension options/funds. What should I be looking out for when choosing one of those? Things like fees, performance, risk level, flexibility, etc.?
