I’m hoping I can get some clarification on timing. I have the manual and go through it step by step but the throttle can follower confuses me. The manual says to use it to set the follower timing at 4 degrees. When I move it the only affect I see is it changes the throttle follower alignment.

I guess my question is do I just set idle timing at 4 and turn total at 26 (manual specs). They just get the idle where I need it?
