Let me start by saying I’m a 41 year old dude who lived my entire adolescents with sublime as the soundtrack. I grew up in suburban Cincinnati a far cry culturally from Southern California. Sublime’s sound created an image in my mind of a lifestyle and vibe that I yearned for but didn’t have access to stuck in the cultural void of suburban Ohio. After college I migrated from Cincy to Southern California largely due to a desire to live a life similar to the one that Brad crafted in his songs. I lived in Venice, ca for 5 magical years and almost daily I’d still pop on sublime just to help soak in those SoCal vibes.

Today, I was sitting by my pool in Florida and listened to the new album start to finish and my god it was so fucking good!

This album is like a literal time capsule allowing me to experience that sweet Cali vibe that has died out over again! My body was listening to the new album in Florida but my soul was whisked away to Cali!

This album is a true gift! Thnx boys!
