Stain Problem…

Hi all, a couple days ago we stained a playset for a customer. It was windy and brushed for all except a couple minutes right in the beginning. Welp, in that short time we got stain on the house, and a truck. It’s timber oil stain, wood rich to be exact, and we didn’t catch it until about 5 hours later when we were called back. We already took care of the truck and it’s getting fixed now. However the house has this stuff all over the siding, gutters, fascia, etc. it’s on everything on the back corner of the home. Nothing is getting it off, laquer thinner, mineral spirits, magic erasers worked but only on some materials. The homeowner has requested we don’t touch the house anymore so we can’t continue to clean it. We are working on getting a quote from a contractor on how much it will be to fix.

On the off chance my insurance doesn’t cover this claim because it’s stain, and we have insurance to pressure wash houses and concrete, what do I do? Close the business? The business is not worth more than the cost to fix this, we only started a few months ago, we are brand new and shouldn’t have been in this situation and touching stain in the first place because it’s not our place of expertise and we told this customer this and that we were uncomfortable but we got pressured into it, and at the end of the day… we took the job so we understand that it still comes on us. What would you guys do in this scenario?

Concrete sealing opinion

Hi everyone, we have recently gotten in to concrete sealing, and I’d like opinions on my prices. Currently, the sealer we use is polyseal ez, it cost $180 for a 5 gallon pal, and covers about 300sqft per gallon. My current price is .80 labor to wash and seal, + the cost of the sealer times how ever many gallons we need, maybe a touch over to be safe. So for example, on ~1600sqft of driveway, our price to charge the customer is $1500, so about .93¢ per sqft to clean, and seal with labor and materials included.

Does this sound reasonable? Too high? Too low? I am in upstate New York. I wanted to post here first before I go fishing around other companies. Thanks!

I got home today and my pressure washers air filter lid was off and on the back of my trailer, but filter was gone! No replacements near me, but I do have an older air filter from a crx 270, i need an air filter for a crx420. Will the smaller air filter be a problem? I assume it’s better to run it with lower airflow than no filter. Any DIY fixes I can do on the fly?
