Recommend supplements when taking Vyvanse?

Hey guys, I know there are all sorts of supplements that can help in tandem with your ADHD medication, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations based on their experience with Vyvanse.

I am currently taking 50mg and was wanting to see if anyone had any recommendations.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Anyone have issues with delays of prescriptions being sent to pharmacy with ADHD Now?

Hey everyone!

I hope you're all well.

I went through the diagnosis process with ADHD Now and I've just had my second titration appointment this morning, but my pharmacist has yet to receive my new script 4 hours later.

Anyone who has gone through this process have a similar experience?

It's strange to me to get a titration appointment on a Sunday but then no one to reach out to with delays, which means I probably won't have my medication before work today 😅

Thanks in advance for any input everyone!

Edit: No prescription, last time I had to provide the prescription to my pharmacy myself as they didn't send it directly. This time I was told it would be sent directly but I guess I have to hope it will be there tomorrow 😅 Super frustrating

Dealing with a shift in dynamic

Hoping to hear how others handle a difficult change in team dynamics.

Our team recently got a new head (after years or stellar leaders) whose style leans toward criticism in a negative "call you out" way over constructive feedback.

The shift in tone is starting to tire me out if I'm honest (I understand too this is their first time leading)

This person also has longstanding friendships with a few team members, which creates an uncomfortable environment. (Almost clique like).

Has anyone navigated a change like this before?

How did you handle the situation while keeping stress low?

I've always done well in this position, but I don't think I'd want to stay long term if this was the vibe/tone.

Thanks everyone, I really do appreciate it!

Advice wanted for garden that has not been looked after.

Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a great weekend.

I just wanted to reach out here for some advice on how I can get my garden back in order.

I recently had a tough time with my mental health and I am finally in a much better place.

Unfortunately the garden is the last hurdle that needs a bit of a reset and I would appreciate any and all advice.

I have a lawnmower, strimmer and some sheers.

(I understand that the weather is going to limit me over the next week or so as the rain has made a return in the north west)

Would anyone have recommendations as for steps I can follow to start to get a handle on this garden again?

I should state that I am renting so I can't do a massive project.

Thanks everyone, really do appreciate it 🙏

Edit: thank you, you lovely folks, I think I feel much more able to tackle this piece by piece following the advice here, really appreciate all the comments 😁

My medication feels like it's changed my life

Hey everyone!

Recently diagnosed ADHD (34) and this has been my first week medicated and to say it's been an emotional one is an understatement

I've gone my whole life suffering from severe executive dysfunction, I've been called lazy, too loud, a person that doesn't apply himself etc.

I had ups and downs with mental health (anxiety /depression)and in my early 20s alcohol and food were my escape until my health declined massively in my late 20s.

My relationships have been like a rollercoaster too, until I met my amazing partner.

My friend group which I have maintained since I was really small are made up of a few ADHD and Autism folks too, which I suppose was a safe space to exist.

I became a dad 6 years ago to the most amazing little one and when I saw them struggling with things I struggled with as a kid, I thought maybe I should see if understanding myself more could help her?

Jump to this year, I got my ADHD diagnosis (combination ADHD with a recommendation to pursue an Autism assessment too) and this past week is my first week taking 30mg Tyvense.

I was able to just do things, work didn't drain me, I was able to engage with my kid and partner more meaningfully and it just hit me, if I had more help as a kid, I might not have struggled as much.

I wanted to write this to say it's never too late to understand yourself better and ask for help.

I'm kind of grieving the childhood I could have had, but I am happy I have some more help now.

If anyone else can relate I'd love to hear a bit about your story.

Reliable mechanics in Sligo town?

Hows things guys, just wanted to check here to see if there are any mechanics about town that would be reliable?

Last time I saw that posted here it was a year or two ago and I wanted to check now to be safe.

I have to get a brake master cylinder replaced on my Hyundai i10 and I wanted to go somewhere that would look after me and where I won't be fleeced.

Any recommendations would be brilliant thanks!
