I think my friend’s boyfriend is a chaser?

So, I have this friend, I’ll call him X, who’s a trans guy. He is my best friend in the whole world, and I tend to be pretty protective of my trans friends because I’m also queer and might be trans, so maybe I’m being dramatic and worrying too much??? But he has a boyfriend, I’ll call him Y, who is a cis bisexual man. It started a few months ago when Y accidentally called X “she” in front of me while he was not around. X has been out since even before we all met, we all met on the same day, so there’s no reason he would be adjusting to any new pronouns. I thought it was weird, but maybe he just misspoke, when I’m talking about multiple people I commonly get pronouns mixed up simply because my brain doesn’t translate well to my mouth, so I didn’t want to assume anything negative off the bat. Recently though, I’ve had an influx of femboys showing up on my instagram and basically every time, it will say “followed by Y” on the account. At first I just thought it was funny, like oh my friend is beating me to the femboys, but it’s become such a pattern that it just seemed off to me. I decided to go through his followers, and mostly every 18+ account he follows is a furry, a femboy, or a trans woman. There are exceptions, but it’s too much of a pattern to not be noticed. I just want to know if I’m being dramatic or if I should actually worry/do or say something. I figured asking other trans people would be the right thing to do since y’all know what chaser behavior looks like.

Should I be concerned?? (Marked NSFW because gross)

I just want to clarify I am NOT asking for any sort of diagnosis or serious medical advice, just want to know if I should be more worried than I am. I am no stranger to an infection as a picker but this one looks particularly gross. I typically just use hydrocolloids to draw out the infection and wash every day but If I should seek further medical attention I am unsure, and I don’t have the money to go to the doctor just to find out I was worrying too much.

Edit: for more context, I’ve gone through 2 hydrocolloid patches in the past 9 hours
