Please help me explain ...

... because I'm incapable of editing a wall of prose into chunks that will be understood by the obtuse. Why do we call RefUK fascist? Please give me nice little soundbites. I'd write a long essay that no-one will read.

Bring it on then ...

Frog face the delusional has challenged Habib over his recent statements. I really hope that his financial misdoings are exposed to the world.

This is all taken from Medway Pride last year on FB. A bit late for VE day but I found it today.

Today's VE Day celebration is a fitting moment to honour the courage and contributions of trans individuals who served during World War II. Here are three remarkable British trans veterans whose stories deserve recognition:

Roberta Cowell (1918–2011) was a British fighter pilot who flew combat missions during WWII and later became the first known British trans woman to undergo gender-affirming surgery in 1951.

Patricia Davies (b. 1927) from Leicestershire, served in the British Army during WWII. At the age of 90, she publicly came out as a trans woman, sharing that she had known her true identity since childhood but feared societal repercussions.

Louise Jennings (1919–2018) fought in the Battle of Dunkirk and later transitioned, becoming one of the UK’s oldest known trans women.

This VE Day, let’s honour all who served—including those whose stories were hidden for too long. Trans veterans like Roberta, Patricia, and Louise remind us that courage comes in many forms.

What bliss. I work nights and rarely see so much sun so I stopped off on my way home. There was a choice of almond or pistachio croissants and another couple of vegan options I can't remember. It was so nice sitting outside in the sun with music coming from different places including someone with a harmonica.

A friend sent me this and I thought you'd appreciate it. Seriously, has working nights affected your youthful good looks? I think I've got more shadows under my eyes - not sure because it's dark when I wake up.

Edit: Thank you to the kind person who gave an award for this post.
