PSA: You dont need to fully remove front bumper to change emblem or do the jdm emblem swap.
Every video I saw on YouTube mentions fully removing the bumper to swap the emblem. Take your time and be patient. If someone seems stuck, take a deep breath or walk away for a minute.
Start by taking off the upper shield with those push to release rivets. Carefully unplug the radar. I actually push the pigtail in like im plugging it in further, then squeeze the release, then unplug. This helps keep from breaking brittle plastic. Next remove the 3 upper center 10mm bolts that hold the bumper in. Afterwards you push the bumper release clips on the headlight and pull forward on the bumper by each headlight. The bumper should pop and release in a few places then come forward a few inches. Then there will be 6 vertical screws with the heads facing the sky at the hood seal you need to remove. The 2 center ones are #2 phillips silver screws and the 4 outer are #1 Phillips black plastic screws. The 2 outer most #1 phillips plastic screws are hidden under the seal, just kinda stretch the seal outwards and pull forward to move the seal out the way. 3 of my 4 plastic screws stripped or broke, so I just yanked the entire plastic screw/rivet assembly out with needle nose pliers. They arent structural and you wont see them once everything is reassembled. There will be 6 horizontal #2 Phillips screws from the part encapsulating the radar with the screw heads facing the engine, 4 boxed around the radar, and 1 on each side between the headlight and the bumper. You will need to flex the bumper slightly forward to get the screwdriver on the 2 between the headlights and bumper. At this point you can remove the rear radar housing completely. You may need to push some of the upper grille locking tabs through it to fully release it. Finally, its time to get the upper grille/emblem assembly itself out. I think the upper grille has 10 locking tabs IIRC. You have push some metal tabs down to start releasing the grille locking tabs and use a flathead to help release the rest of them. Of those 10, there are 4 in the center that box the radar in, definitively use a flathead on them. Your gonna have to finesse it to get it out without breaking anything. Once the upper grille is in your hand, there is one more #2 phillips screw just under the radar unit itself, then you can release the emblem clips and push it the emblem out of the upper grille.
Reverse the instructions for install. I had to bend the metal locking tabs attached to the bumper upwards with the grille still removed to get them to fully engage the grille locking tabs. Lmk if you have any questions! I tried to make a video but I forgot to mention the 6 screws holding the rear radar bracket.
Also, since I used an oem part, my ACC/ radar cruise control worked perfectly! No calibration needed 💪💪
