I've got to book a last minute dinner for 9 people tomorrow in London - city would be ideal but happy to travel a bit if needed.

No dietary requirements, no price limit - quality of food is top priority.

Anyone have any ideas? Fallback would be the usual Blacklock, Hawksmoor, Sticks + Sushi, etc.

I've passed my theory twice now after letting it expire once, and then being unable to book a test in my desired test center.

I've since moved to London and my theory expires again in November. Obviously, I can't find any tests available for a location within 100 miles of me before then, and waiting for 6am on Monday morning wont work, because my theory expires in less than 24 weeks.

Are my only options:

• Redo theory now and try to book a test in 6 months
• Check the DVLA website every hour and pray that there's a London test available (unlikely, given pass rates are <40% near me)
• Book an airbnb in a remote Welsh village for a week and take the test there

I drive my partner's car all the time without issue (with her there), do I really need to take my theory a 3rd time and wait 6 months before I can legally drive on my own?

Edit: Managed to get a theory cancellation on Saturday so I'm just going to do that and try to book a local test first thing on Monday!
