This thing is beast mode. $99 on clearance at Home Depot. It doesn’t have the kickback protection of the 806 but from reviews the protection is way too sensitive. Gonna go make some holes and unsub from this sub before I buy more stuff 😂
I had this in my cart but hesitated. I was going to get a 4 1/2 atomic angle grinder and this for $229. Now it doesn’t seem to be working for me. Wonder if I can try in store? Or did I miss it.
So my kid (13) has rode a pw80 for the last few years. I had big plans to restore it but he has outgrown it and I think ready for a clutch. As of today he fits perfectly on the small wheel. The big wheel is more future proof of course but he would be leaning/on tip toes trying to learn the clutch.
I think I might get a used small wheel for this year and just sell it next year. But part of me is saying just get the big wheel, it will be a longer term bike I could use myself to put around on and let other people ride when camping.
Wow this thing is sweet. The little 12v put in a lot of work but after assembling a tin roof pergola last weekend my ears were ringing.
Love the new LEDs, love the much lower sound. Love the 3.5ah battery pack. Not sure if I like the mechanical switch and the missing “precision” mode. I do like the extended light but wish it was just a button independent of the speed switch.
I also got the USB C adapter which I think will come in real handy.
