F3 675 2021 Exan exhaust review

Bought this Italian exhaust off a website called moto-sound.com. Wanted a cheaper alternative to SC projects but payed the price for it. It has all kinds of quirks. Let’s start with those:
- Fitment is bad. The hole for the footpeg doesnt align and is crooked. It almost touches the rear fairing too.
- No heat protection at the kink burning my boots. Fixed with a ghetto fix at the track. Will try and buy generic carbon heelplate.
- No removable baffle because they welded it.
- Delivery takes 1.5 months
- Mount makes it impossible to keep the passenger pegs. Sorry for my girlfriend.

The good:
- Sounds amazing. To have it sound even better a Healtech servo eliminator is needed
- Looks good
- Is cheap €420 for the linkpipe and exhaust

F3 675 gear ratio tips

What ratio is recommended? Stock is way too tall. Going 211kph from 3rd to 4th. Had no power doing hairpins in 2nd compared to most 600’s around me.

Stock it says it’s running 17/39. What is everyone running?

Read somewhere they were running 16/43 but that seems like a drastic change.

First trackday with a 2021 F3 675

Out of the box (new to me) review of a stock 2021 F3 675. Intending to document the ownership of this bike as owners need more info about these bikes. Especially with the AI tools learning alot from places like Reddit.

Mods so far:
WRS windscreen
Rizoma Lever guard
Ez grip tank grip
Brembo Z04 pads front
Pirelli supercorsa SP

There is an issue with my right fork’s preload adjuster. It keeps spinning with a ticking spring like noise. These marzocchi forks don’t have “clicks” they just turn. Left has 6.5 total turns of preload which i put to the max as i believe the right one has no preload at all. Will get that fixed asap, but haven’t found someone willing to do it yet. Hard to find garages that work on MV Agusta here in the Netherlands.

Bike is strong on entry. Especially with the engine brake mode turned to low. Keeps on rolling and maintains a nice slip angle on heavy braking.

Gearing ratio sucks big time stock. I believe it’s 16/41 stock but haven’t confirmed that yet. Will go to 15 and maybe a different rear too. The exits in hairpins in 2nd gear had no power. Needed to do 1st but then lost cornerspeed.

Also just put on new rearsets but couldn’t fit the right one as the stock exhaust is in the way. Bought an Exan exhaust for €450 that will arrive in 2 weeks. Will update. Also a welcome change because i struck my toes on both sides.

Rear shock is good stock, good enough. Managed a nice sandy beach on the tire. But the temperature was ideal at 21c.

Next up to find: a steering damper that doesnt break the bank. The Nissin master cilinder would be something to upgrade as i like more lever pressure. And im waiting on parts for relocating the rearbrake reservoir as thats being boiled by the engine..

Marzocchi fork preload adjuster left the chat

Picked this MV Agusta F3 2021 with only 3000km up the other day. Going to make this a street and track hybrid. Felt odd under light braking where the forks dove pretty fast and abrupt. Went to fiddle with the settings to find out the preload on the right fork just does F all. Any experience with this? What was the fix?
