I've posted a handful of times on here about the same truck having the same damn issues. It's an '88 C1500 with the 5.7.... THE CULPRIT?!? A bad fuel pressure regulator diaphragm. Bought the kit and opened up her topside, lo and behold! Brown sticky stuff coating everything!
Any ideas for fixing a leaky AC compressor? Anyone got one that don't leak?
So i hooked the timing light up and disconnected the advance plug and the line was NOT at the 0° mark, it was in the smaller valley next to it, what now?
1988 c1500 5.7 regular cab 2WD lowered shitbox supreme... so about a year ago I replaced the cap and rotor on my truck, and ever since thwn it's run like shit. If I gave it too much gas, it would back fire through the throttle body, it would occasionally die at lights and I'd have to restart it. After finally buying a timing light to see what the issue was, I took another look at the spark plug wires, i realized they were on wrong. After doing some validating research, I made sure about forty billion times that I had it right this time (see link) I went to start it and now this is what i'm getting. If this is the right way , then why was it starting up like [sorta]normal before and not now? I cant even get it to fire at all so how am I supposed to use this light to make sure it's at top dead center 0°? Have a listen so you can tell me how inept I am.
My boyfriend has an hp z240 sff work station and I was wanting to get him a graphics card for his birthday. I have 250 to spend, but I could spend more if it's worth it. He also has an I5 I don't know if I got a rx 6400 and a better cpu of that would be better orrr
