Currently wanna get into roadcycling here in Denmark and I think I have narroweed it down to pretty much two different options but I am a bit unsure what is the best option longterm and for me to have the most enjoyable and fun time.

Option A:
2024 Orbea Orca M20iTeam - 3750 euro

Option B:
2026 Orbea Orca M30I - 2800 euro

I think the main two differences here is that the M20iTeam comes with Di2 Ultegra and Carbon wheels which Option B the M30I does not.

the M30I comes with Alloy wheels so my thought was spending a year on the Alloy wheels and next season upgrading to a set of Carbon wheels, which then will put the Option B bike to around the same price as the Option A was initially.

Would love to hear what fellow bikers think

If you know what you know today - and but were new to sim racing and had to go all out on a full setup and skip the learning curve, what would you buy in terms of brands and models of the following:

Wheelbase

Wheel

Pedals

Any additional equipment such as:

Shifter

Handbrake

DDU

Buttonbox

Would be cool if people could give a bit of text on why!
