Late October wardrobe advice

Hello everyone,

After many years on the to-do list, I'm finally visiting Bhutan in a couple of months. I'm very excited about it!

We are doing a fairly compact 7 day itinerary Paro - Thimphu - Phobjikha - Punakha - Paro, with a couple of short day hikes but nothing particularly adventurous.

I'm starting to plan my packing list, to ensure I have plenty of time to buy anything I don't already have, and am hoping this community can help with a couple of questions I have..

The biggest being how cold should I realistically expect it to get? I've looked at average temperature charts, but I know that these don't always give the full picture.

And there's so much variation in the packing lists I've seen online; from "you absolutely must have a fleece, a down puffer jacket AND a waterproof shell" through to "bring a light sweater". I know the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle, but to which end of the spectrum?

Also, I have read that leggings probably aren't super appropriate as outwear for our active days. I've just bought a pair of Uniqlo joggers instead, but they are slim fit and fairly fitted around my butt. Will this be ok, or should I look for something with a wider, baggy fit?

Finally, how smart will I need to dress for dinner in the evenings? Is clean activewear and trainers acceptable (ie, what I'll be sightseeing in the following day) or should I pack a nice dress? (I know where we eat will impact this, but just a general sense of what is culturally appropriate would be helpful).

Thanks in advance for guidance!

Dharma Bums non-activewear... Opinions?

In the past, Dharma Bums has not been a brand that appealed to me as it was mostly printed hippy-looking leggings, and I am a girlie who likes my activewear more...technical(? 🤷‍♀️) looking.

However, they seem to be pivoting their offering because I keep seeing ads for some quite nice looking dresses and tops + pant combos that look like a nice bridge between loungewear and smart-casual. It has piqued my interest.

Just wondering if anyone has purchased anything besides leggings from them lately who can chime in on quality / fit / general shopping exercise?

I can see some older posts saying sizing saw a bit inconsistent in the past, but curious for more recent intel..?

I picked up this blouse at an op shop over the weekend and all the tags - including the care instructions - have been cut out.

Long shot but just wondering if anyone recognises it? I'm keen to know what the fabric is so I know how to launder and iron it, and also just to know the brand because it's nice and I would like to check out more by the same company.

(I don't need advice on how to approach laundry without knowing the fabric, I am specifically hoping to ID this item)

Notable details include:

- navy blue

- feels slightly silky but don't think it's silk, maybe a lightweight cupro?

- french seams throughout

- multiple rows of stitching detail on neckline

- elasticated arm bands (hooray says the girl with guns!)

- gathered shoulder placket
