"Hold my paw, hooman, I'm having big feelings."

The cat was being mean so Dougie came under my desk to ask for comfort.

These pictures are around 4 months apart 😱

It's kind of wild to see how much Dougie has grown since we brought him home! We're coming up on the day when he's going to be bigger than Roly 😱

Dougie's first sploot!!

He was very confused about why I was excited.

Dougie is learning many things from his big brother Roly, including the art of sleeping in weird positions

Anyone else's pup have an area of intense color?

This bright spot behind his ear is my favorite marking on Dougie! It's hidden because of how his ears normally are.

Caught this little rascal chewing on my chair. When I looked at him, he pretended to be asleep, but kept chewing on my chair.

Sorry for the potato phone quality, I didn't have all the lights on and wanted to get a picture before he decided to stop faking sleep.

I feel like I am denial over how big our puppy is getting, lol!

I look at Dougie and still see our little baby potato, but he is getting so big!

He's 24 weeks old, almost as tall as his older brother Roly, and at last measurement, weighed 36.8 lbs. (This is particularly funny because the shelter estimated he would be less than 44 lbs when fully grown.)

Anyone else had a dog that ended up bigger than originally anticipated? How big were they as a puppy and how big did they end up getting?

I could not be more proud...Dougie convinced a lady that pitbulls are actually great!

Every Friday, my husband takes one of the dogs to his work with him, and then after work, they go to the bank. Today, he took our 5 month old pit mix, Dougie.

While at the bank, Dougie started making puppy eyes at a lady who was at the next teller, who couldn't resist and started cuddling with him. She eventually asked what breed he was, and was surprised to find out he's some sort of pit mix! She told my husband "I thought all pitbulls were mean!"

Dougie apparently cuddled her so much she said she's never going to be afraid of another pitbull again.

I could cry from being so proud of my good little dude!
