Been stealth now retired and don't know what to do

I'm more chubby than fat but I live a modest lifestyle and I'm pretty a ok with that. I doubt the wife would want to move at this point anyway. I'm young, at least at heart at 41. I've been out of the game for a couple years now after a layoff. I just tell people I'm living off of savings and odd jobs which is like kind of true.

I'm kind of bored. My days mostly consist of getting coffee and the latest comics plus working out which by all means is great. I honestly don't know what the hell I want at this point. I day dream about starting something but I'm not even sure if that makes sense.

I lost a friend recently which sucks considering I already had none. Lack of a real community is killing me. I'm in the Detroit metro and the average age here is old.

If you have advice, inspiration or recommendations let's here them. Appreciate it, thanks.

Looking to for Trim/Finish work in metro Detroit

Hello, I'm older 41 and starting a career change. I have my own tools but only a bit of experience doing production work on track homes. Baseboard, hung plenty of doors, window and door casing etc etc. I'd like to learn more. If you have an opening or know someone that does please message me or reply here. I'm pretty open as far as opportunities go.

I heard don't bother with free standing attempts till you can regularly take your feet off the wall and hold for 10 seconds?

First Muscle Up

I started training in October. I'm loving calisthenics so far and have pretty obsessed. I got my first muscle up after a lot of failed attempts. I had been working them with bands prior which I feel helped me learn the transition. I'm nervous I'll lose them now.

Seeking Guidance and Advice

I was born Feb 23rd 1985 at approx noon. I'm 41, recently lost my job and quite frankly at a loss for what to do next. I was a software engineer but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find work as it seems so many jobs have been either outsourced to countries with cheaper labor or replaced by AI. I have a lot of options because I saw this coming so I prepared for it financially. I've never started my own business but I find it kind of scary honestly. Part of me just doesn't want to work period and I could probably get away with it for a good long period.

The number 23 seems to follow me but in a positive way. When I have good luck coming my way I can feel it. Likewise sometimes I sense dark times ahead. Right now I'm just looking for general career and life advice. Any and all is appreciated. Thank you.
