queer friendly, fun places!

visiting nashville for a week with my girlfriend, where are some fun dive bars, clubs, honky tonks, diy shows, etc you recommend!!

I love to dance, but also appreciate a chill dive bar where people are willing to chat with you! Any screamo, punk, hc diy music would be awesome too if there’s any spots for that. I’d love to check out a honky tonk or two (i’m originally from the south so I have to go back to my roots ofc), are there any that are specifically lgbt friendly or might draw a more queer crowd?

Open to any recommendations of anything!!!

BONUS: are there any places on the outskirts of nashville that are good for swimming? swimming holes, creeks, etc. Thanks!

Mid 20s queer woman, 3rd move where should I go??

I grew up in southern lousiana, I love the culture love the food love the music. Left to experience somewhere other than where i’ve lived forever and went to austin texas. I Love the nature in austin, so many beautiful swimming holes and creeks. Love the music and DIY and good community. I got bored after a while and now i’m in chicago. I love that chicago is a city while also having the ability to swim and be surrounded by nature whether it’s in the city or just a little bit outside of it. This is the first place i’ve experienced a winter, and while it’s not bad it’s long and people hibernate. I thought people would be more willing to still go out and do things and have fun but everyone wants to disappear for 6 months! I got bored of how small austin was, now i’m bored of how chicago feels to get sleepy. It could just be me. I just like new excitement very often and while there’s nothing really wrong with any of these places i’ve lived in I just want to keep traveling while i’m young and I can. Where should I go??? I LOVE the heat and I love the sun. I love the PNW but of course it’s gloomy and portland seems to be very sleepy. I’ve visited nashville when I was a bit younger and thought it was pretty fun but what do I know I haven’t been back. What’s happening in Arizona? I’ve heard a lot about richmond, VA but I can imagine it’s just a small small town. I hate that the warmth is only in the southern states and as much as I love it the political climate is not great for women or lgbt people right now . I just wanna swim, go to fun shows, ride my bike, and have a good community! I wanna see everything and be everywhere so give me any ideas :) Also I don’t ever want to live in ny or LA. I love lots of people and cities but they seem too overwhelming to me
