For anyone Stuck in 60-70 marks in MHT-CET. What are the best options now? (Drop vs. Low-tier vs Branch compromise)

It’s an awkward zone because top colleges are out of reach, and it's hard to decide what to do next.

Can seniors or anyone experienced guide us on the best options?

  1. Low-Tier Colleges via CAP Rounds

Is it worth taking CS/IT in a Tier-3 college in Pune/Mumbai and focusing on off-campus placements? Are there any decent colleges that cut off around this range?

  1. Branch Compromise

Should we take lower branches (Mechanical, Civil, Entc) in a slightly better, mid-tier college just for the brand, or stick to CS/IT/Tech branches in lower colleges?

  1. Taking a Full Drop

Is taking a drop year for MHT-CET worth it, or is the competition getting too risky? For seniors who took a drop from this percentile, how did it go?

  1. Management Quota / Private Universities

Are private university exams or institutional seats a realistic backup if budget allows
