Im trading in my car on Tuesday, so im clearing it out. I had these neck pillows that were attached to the head rest. They have been on there for about 7 years. I just removed them, and it looks like they stained my leather seats.
Is there any way to get these stains out? I assume it's dye from the pillows???
I owned a 03 limited 4wd sequoia and absolutely loved it! It had 379k miles on when I sold it, and I've regretted it since.
The reason I sold it was because it was just too much truck, and I just felt like it's going to start having issues. Sold it for $4k, and the new owner had it for 3 years and then smoked a deer.
Ironically, now I need more truck. My current vehicle can only tow 5k pounds, and with my boat and gear, im at about 4800 pounds.
I wanna get back into a sequoia. Im looking to spend around $35k i would like at minimum 7k pounds towing, I live in snow country so 4wd and I am huge sound guy so im thinking platinum trim for the sound system.
I would also like the mileage to be under 130k.
What years should I be looking at? Im thinking like 2018's maybe?
Also at that mileage what should I be looking at as far as maintenance done or potential issues that should have been addressed. I remember with the 1st gens they had back window issues and a few other issues.
I worked in automotive sales and finance so I can figure out if im getting a good deal but 2nd Gen sequoia I know very little about.

Had an uncle die and leave me about $22k. I figure I will be retired in about 23 years. I need an etf that is focused on growth that I can just park for a few decades.
In my personal stock portfolio I do have VOO but that pays a dividend and for this I really dont want to deal with tge tax hassel of dividends.
The roofing company that did my neighbors house damaged my property by driving their big trucks on it. The owner of the business was pretty cool about it and when I confronted them they had their insurance company get in touch with me. He said he was sorry and was unaware they were driving and parking on my property.
That was 4 months ago and now their insurance hasn't returned any of my calls in the last 45 days.
Its about $4k in damage that I have already paid to have fixed.
I wanna take the roofing company to small claims court. Besides the $4k what else can you add to the claim? This is going to cost me time, have to take days off work, miles on my vehicles and court cost. Plus all the time Ive wasted on this insurance company.
What cords do I need to get these two to talk? All I care about is depth and maybe water temp. Also there is about a 10ft gap in between the two units so Ill need extended cords if they make them.

Long story short a landscaping truck turned a corner and something flew off their truck and smashed the driver side rear door window.
Talking with the company and their insurance it sounds like they are not going to cover it.
Safelite wants over $500 to replace it. My deductible is $500.
How hard is it to replace that window? I can get an oem window for around $100 shipped. $400 to install seems high.
I cant find a youtube video that shows replacing a window.

Long story short the motor sucked up a massive amount of sand. Nothing coming out the telltale.
I flushed it using the flush port and a little sand came out.
I pulled the fresh water filter and that was packed to the brim. Cleaned that out.
I pulled the thermostat housing and there was sand everywhere. I cleaned the thermostat and with the hose poured water down the thermostat area. It wouldnt drain fast. It would literally fill up. Then slowly drain. I did that about 5 or 6 times. Never really drained fast.
I then pulled the lower unit. Sand everywhere. The waterpump was stuffed and the part where the water pump connects to the motor was plugged with sand.
Hosed off the entire lower unit. Sent massive amounts of water into the water pump. Did it like 10 times till all the water was clear. Hit the part where the water pump connects to the head with water and even took a 18" bamboo stick and moved it around till all the water came out clear.
The bamboo stick only went up about 3 or 4 inches. Did I hit blockage or is there a turn in the line?
Shoved weed whacker line up the telltale about 10", wouldnt go any farther, and nothing really came out. Was hoping a bunch of sand would come out.
Once I was pretty sure I had everything cleaned enough to get some flow I bolted it all up. Before I put the thermostat housing back on there was a little bit of sand so I made a pattern in the sand to see if it washed away.
Put rabbit ears on and let it run for like 20 secs and nothing coming out the telltale so I shut her down.
I reopened the thermostat housing and the pattern I made on the sand was still there. So water never reached past the thermostat.
I am assuming the impeller or water pump is shot so I already ordered one. So I dont ruin this impeller or pump I want to make sure everything is clean and flowing right.
Besides flush port, thermostat, telltale and right above the water pump is there any other place I can shoot water or compressed air?
If you pour water into the thermostat area should it drain fast or fill up? If its supposed to drain fast I assume its plugged but I feel like water isn't even making it that far or the sand pattern would have been washed away.

Father's day I let my dad drive my boat. I wasn't paying attention and he basically beached me on a sandbar. I had to raise the motor and rev it pretty hard to back us off. The entire way back to the deep channel I basically was in muck and sand. A good 3 mins.
Right when we got back to the channel I gave it gas and the guardian system kicked in and put me into limp mode. I shut it down instantly and used the trolling motor and kicker to get us back.
After work today I hooked up the garden hose to the flush port and let flush water for 5 mins. Not going to lie the water was pretty clean. That actually scared me.
I then pulled the cigar looking plastic filter thing and it was packed to the brim with sand. Cleaned that out and let it flush again for another 5 mins. Still cleaning water than I was expecting. I was hoping for just muck and sand.
I took it down to the dock and dipped the ass end and fired it up. After 10 seconds I noticed nothing coming out of the telltale. I put it in forward, reverse and still nothing so I shut it down.
My assumption is everything SOUTH of that cigar plastic thing is completely packed with sand. So inlets and water pump.
Short of dropping the lower unit what can I do to clean out all this packed sand?
Also I forgot to pull the thermostat I will do that tomorrow when I go back out to the boat.

Long story short ive made it a point work my upper body by treading water on the lake. It literally works every muscle north of the ribs.

The problem is this is day 12 out of 14 of taking the boat boat out after work and treading water for an hour or two. Plus fishing.

I legit cant get comfortable to relax enough to fall asleep.

Is there a trick weightlifters use to relax the muscles to fall asleep?

Litterally every muscle from my ribs up to my chin is just tight as can be.
My humsienk 48v 150ah battery was completely dead. Like the app was reading zero percent. So I decided to charge it while at work out in the parking lot. When I got done with work it only charged to 13%. My other battery on a different charger charged fully.
I wasn't paying attention and didn't think about the sun moving all day. My assumption is the charger got too much sun and over heated.
The problem is now I cant even get it to turn on? Like the fan wont spin when plugged in and none of the lights turn on. Ive tried 7 different outlets at 3 different houses.
Did I cook this thing? I cant find any fuses or anything like that? Is there anything I can try to get this thing to turn on??
Im new to this stuff and is there anything I can try before I contact the manufacturer for a replacement??

I want to unseat my stations union rep, and I want to replace them. How would one go about doing this?
I have zero faith in the current rep and I have caught her several times discussing grievances with other carriers. Grievances should be between the carrier, the union and management. They should not be publicly discussed between everyone.

apparently we are being told there is language, not sure if it is local or national, that you're not allowed to take a no lunch unless you can complete your route in 8. if you take ANY overtime, or have to give up part of your route to make 8 you must take a lunch. That means otdl carriers, you MUST take a lunch. the language also says that if you take a no lunch you forfeit any and all potential time clock grievances for that day that may happen. Basically the thought process is if you take a no lunch you agree to be done in 8 so there should NEVER be a clock issue.
i spoke with my union rep and asked for the physical text so i could read it. this sounds dangerous.
