Anyone have any suggestions where to look for home rentals? Aside from marketplace and kijiji. (Moving from Sask)

So, I’ve been on WCB for few months due to a workplace injury (Concussion) , and I’ve been super cooperative with all parties involved. However, I did just receive notice from the employer that I’ve been laid off due to “shortage of work” a shift before I’m supposed to be going back to work for full duties. I work in AB, but live in SK. On site employees/supervisors are saying they’re short on manpower too.
They are paying me a severance (40 hours of my current wage. 1yr employment)
Anyone know if this is legal or should I be contacting a lawyer?
