[Question] BB58 bezel numerals turned silver - normal or warranty issue?

I recently bought a 2022 Tudor Black Bay 58 and noticed that the bezel numerals are silver rather than gold gilt.

Is this normal on the BB58, or does it sound like unusual fading? Would this be considered normal wear or something worth bringing up under warranty?

Legend Diver 39 or HydroConquest 39 as a one-watch collection?

Hey everyone,

I recently returned my Longines Zulu Time after a frustrating QC/service experience, and now I’m looking for a new everyday watch. I’ve narrowed it down to:
- Legend Diver 39mm Black
- Legend Diver 39mm Blue
- HydroConquest 39mm Black

This will be my only watch, daily wearer and office + casual watch.

What matters most to me is comfort, versatility, long-term ownership satisfaction and something that still feels special after years.

Price isn’t really the deciding factor.
Which would you choose and why?

Have anyone else noticed that Longines has applied a new clasp on their newly released spirit pilot? I actually suspect they will at some point apply the same clasp on the Zulu Time. I like my Zulu time however felt the clasp is a bit cheap as it does not have on the fly micro adjustment and overall could be cleaner instead of engraving “Longines” all over it. Thus, I consider changing it to this version, anyone with experience on how to order parts from Longines/AD? What are your thoughts on this clasp vs the one on the zulu time?

Hey all,

I recently received a replacement Longines Spirit Zulu Time 39mm from an AD after my original watch had a scratch on the crystal and a minor index issue.

This new one looks great overall, but I’ve noticed a faint line on the dial between 2 and 3 o’clock. It’s subtle, but it appears to be constant (doesn’t disappear when changing angles like typical sunburst reflections).

I’ve attached a photo where it’s visible in the right lighting.

My question:

Would you consider this within normal QC tolerances for Longines, or is this something you’d expect to be flawless on a brand new watch?

I’m trying to figure out whether I’m being too picky here or if this is something worth raising with the AD again.

Appreciate any input – especially from other Zulu Time owners.

Thanks!
