Been looking for an installer for for over 6 months and finally had a chance to visit Capitol. Highly recommend!

Last year, I was stuck in a nightmare loop of recurring pneumonia. After months of this, my doctor ordered a specialized test, called me with the results, and told me to head straight to the ER. I woke up three days later in a different hospital. The diagnosis? A bacterial infection was attached to my heart valve, and I needed open-heart surgery. I was in my forties with two little kids—WTF. Luckily, the best surgeon in the country for this is right here, who managed to repair the valve rather than replace it. I came out the other side deeply grateful for my wife’s and family’s support and the pure good fortune of surviving it. During my recovery, I started visiting a friend’s store—an authorized dealer for a few watch brands, including Tudor. Every time I bought a watch, it gave me a moment of control. It made me feel like me again—the person I was before I got sick. Looking back, I may have overdone it, but without that outlet, I don’t think I would feel like myself today. I’ve made a full recovery. This is now quite a passion. Two years later, I have a box full of Tudors, a deep appreciation for Kenissi movements, and a real love for horology. That journey moved fast—maybe a bit too fast—but along the way, I have made great friends: a watchmaker and fellow enthusiasts and collectors. I finally figured out exactly what I really value and enjoy in a timepiece. Beyond the physical collection, this assortment now holds a special sentimental value that money can't buy. When I see this case, it reminds me that I made it and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Morning! I need help deciding what my next purchase should be. I currently daily a Sinn 556 & I’m leaning toward the burgundy 58. The 5-link bracelet is beautiful & gives it a dressed up look. I’m worried the burgundy will clash with what I normally wear though. The other main contender is the blue Pelly. The only downside, in my opinion, is that it can’t be dressed up quite as much. I like the black 58, but might be too close to my Sinn? I wish they made a white dial 58 on a 5-link. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I just got my BB58 Burgundy, and the color is absolutely beautiful. The red dial takes on different shades in sunlight, giving it a lovely sense of depth. It’s also very comfortable on the wrist, and the thickness feels just right.
I have a question about hand-winding: does it feel the same as the Ranger when fully wound, with that noticeable sensation of the mainspring slipping? It feels less obvious on my BB58 than on my Ranger, so I’m not quite sure when it’s fully wound.

Without a doubt, these two get the most wrist time in my collection.

Took a trip to my favorite AD yesterday and treated myself to this beauty! Was torn between the black FXD and the BB Monochrome and decided on the blue FXD. AD showed some love like always with some gifts for me and the wife 🙏🏼

Bought this beauty to celebrate my graduation and next career move

Picked up my first Tudor yesterday from the AD. I know I could’ve saved some money but because I wanted the full experience. Loving it so far.

After flip flopping between different models for a bit, I finally landed on the BB58. This watch helps to memorialize this year for me with turning 40 and losing my mother at the end of June. I will forever have memories tied to this watch and can’t wait to share it with my son years down the road.

Loving the bb pro picked up yesterday to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary from Fraser hart, £500 off the sticker price too 👍

I’ve owned hundreds of watches, but this one always earns the most wrist time. Big presence, light weight, excellent lume, adjustable clasp, and outstanding time keeping. It’s a winner!

Loved the watch. Looks better in person. Got it as a wedding gift. I was between this and BB36 (Blue dial) but this one feels better

Pulled my old Konica FS-1 out after more than 10 years gathering dust, threw in some Fuji 400 and somehow the thing fired right back up.

I ran a test roll through it before an upcoming trip and of course a few shots had to be of the wrist. Really happy with how they came out, there’s something about the grain and slightly imperfect exposure of film that works so well with mechanical watches.
