I'm looking at a BNIB May 2026 Tudor Black Bay 58 Burgundy (Ref. 7939A1A0RU), full set with the new NFC warranty card. I negotiated the price from SGD$4,777 to SGD$4,600 (~US$3,561).

This would be my first Tudor, bought from a reputable grey dealer rather than an AD.

Is SGD$4,600 (~US$3,561) a fair price?

Is it a good deal?

Any concerns buying grey instead of from an AD?

Would you buy now or wait for prices to soften a little more?

I'd appreciate any opinions, especially from those who've bought their first Tudor on the grey market.

Walked into a Rolex AD close to my neighborhood for the first time and fell in love with all the shine. Tried a bunch on but the BB Chrono really stood out to me. Went back to my car to think about it over a dart, went back in and told the SA to ring it up. 9600 cad after taxes walked out with this bad boy. Only place I refuse to wear it is at work. (I drive a redimix truck in Toronto). Tough choice between black and white. I went with white but sometimes I look at the pictures and wish I got black.

Opted for the BB54 today (paired with the Watches of Espionage CAT strap).

After a lot of gut wrenching internal debates I finally went with this. I am on the waitlist for a GMT Master II along with a Panda (not sure if I will ever see them). I started this quest leaning towards the Sinn U2 (still might someday) but decided it was too “tool” for now. At the end it came down to this or the GS SBGE285, I went with the Tudor. I tried the GS on today and although beautiful I am glad I chose the Tudor. I also tried on the 39 mm Tudor Black Bays and decided they were too small for me. Anyways , I am super happy with my choice. I will buy a nylon strap for it and eventually a 5 link bracket. BTW, ChatGPT was a huge help in thinking this through.

Been eyeing this beauty for many months now. So thrilled to finally own it. Favorite Tudor from past or present.

First Tudor watch, very happy with the purchase. Celebrating a great job that I started earlier this year. Using this zero pass generic garmin ultrafit strap, and the comfort is amazing.

It’s stunning, I recently got the BB58 burgundy and now this, I really like the quality and sturdiness combined with bolder colors that Tudor is producing recently

Just picked up a blue Pelagos to go with my original 42mm black version. The matte blue dial is awesome!

Scratch magnet but wonderful tool watch.

Just picked up this beauty. Size fits better than a 41. Titanium bracelet is incredible for all day wear. The finish on the bezel and dial is so unique the way it evolves under different lighting. Love this thing.
