[Explorer 2] Size check, too big?

I'm thinking about buying my dream watch (Explorer II) to wear for my wedding next May. I love the piece, but I’m worried the proportions are off and it looks too chunky with a suit. Does it overpower my wrist or can I comfortably pull it off? Please be honest, I appreciate the feedback!

[Explorer II] Is this a good size match?

Does the Explorer II look too big on this wrist (not mine but I didn’t take photos when I tried it on, so just found a similar wrist online), or does it fit well? My wrist is 16 cm (6.3”). I was surprised by how wearable it felt when I tried it since the dial isn’t huge relative to the case. Looking for honest opinions before I decide to buy one. Lug overhang, proportions, and overall fit all welcome.

[Explorer II 16570] Is €7,250 fair for this 2005 black dial example with Rolex service warranty until 2027?

I was pretty much set on buying a Black Bay Pro after trying one on recently and really liking it. The fit was excellent and I finally understood why the model has such a loyal following despite all the comments online about its thickness.

Then I came across a 2005 Explorer II 16570 (black dial) from a dealer in Portugal for €7,250 and now I’m having second thoughts.

The watch is a D serial from 2005, has the calibre 3185 movement, comes with the original box and a Rolex service card valid until May 2027. The dealer describes it as being in very good condition, and I’ve attached their photos.

My main question is whether this specific watch looks like a good buy at today’s market prices.

Does €7,250 seem fair for a 16570 with a recent Rolex service and warranty until 2027?

Do the photos show anything concerning regarding case condition, polishing, bracelet wear or anything else that should make me cautious?

More broadly, if you were in my position and choosing between a brand-new Black Bay Pro and this particular Explorer II 16570, which would you pick and why?

Interested to hear opinions from people who have owned either model.
