Can anyone identify this WW2-era cabin door?

Hello! I found this old aircraft door but it doesn't have any stamps or markings. Does anyone know what this came off of? There's military green paint under the outermost gray paint layer.

New rider, here’s my heavily modified 2025 Rockhopper

Hi, I’ve slowly gotten the itch to try mountain biking after buying a few old bikes and teaching myself how to rebuild them, and I’ve finally jumped in.

I picked up this ugly purple Rockhopper on clearance a couple weeks ago for $475 at a local shop. It’s an XXL frame and fit me well (I’m 6’5”), but I immediately had some geometry issues that were giving me neck and hand problems, so I shot the parts cannon at it since the bike was quite cheap.

First, Epixon 32 air fork. It’s an XXL frame with an XS steerer tube height; the factory geometry is absolutely whack for tall riders even though it’s an XXL. I needed higher handlebars and have been around enough to know when to just listen to standard upgrade advice, so I just bought the air fork and installed it before the first ride. No regrets.

I also swapped on Cannondale Cruise Control riser bars to get extra height and because I think they look cool.

Ergon grips replaced the factory Specialized grips which are really firm and uncomfortable. These are so worth the money.

Plastic factory pedals were replaced with the thin metal Walmart Ozark Trail ones. They’re really nice, but heavy. I want lighter pedals at some point.

The factory saddle is actually super comfortable for me, so it stayed.

The dropper post I wasn’t too sure about, but I get the hype now. I love having it. I found an X-Fusion Manic dropper for dirt cheap and installed it with a CNC’d aluminum Amazon dropper lever.

The tires were the last upgrade. I got a really sweet deal on a pair of DHFs and they made a really big difference. The stock tires are not very knobby and I was losing grip on berms which was terrifying. With these, I’m not having those issues.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading and feel free to ask questions and provide some feedback or recommendations. Cheers.
