No Destination Fee Benefits when using a FNA?
Hotel front desk told me that because I was using a FNA I didn't qualify for the normal Destination Fee benefits because I wasn't paying the "$20 destination fee". One of the benefits is a $10 daily credit. I went back again later and asked another person at the front desk and they told me the same thing. At check out I brought it up again and they confirmed the same policy but after a long discussion they finally applied the discount to my bill as a bill adjustment for "being a frequent guest."
Is this correct? I have never had this issue in the past even at this same hotel. Is this a new Hyatt policy or just a hotel specific option?
Thanks
Hotel was Hyatt Regency Orange County
