Constructive Discharge timeline

After a prolonged constructive discharge, where I was careful to give the employer multiple chances to make the situation right (and documented everything), I submitted for UI after I resigned. I faxed back the questionnaire and request for reconsideration DOL sent me within 3 business days. Now it’s been almost 2 calendar weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them. I called Friday but couldn’t get through. (Went through all the prompts and got the automated “there’s no one available to help you - try calling later.” 😑

So now I’m wondering when I should expect to hear from DOL again? I’m anticipating a denial and appeal. Anyone with any experience with this I’d appreciate your 2 cents very much. Thank you

[New York] Constructive discharge resources

My employer has been side stepping all convention and reasonableness trying to get me out. It’s kind of like a saga at this point, but I’ve come to learn about constructive discharge and I think I’ll need to file for unemployment under that premise. Anyone have and reccs to help figure this all out? I cannot afford $450/hour to talk to a lawyer, as the last one quoted me…

Lost friends? Changed relationship dynamics?

Anyone had this happen to them?

I’ve been buying BTC for a few years. And got into it really hard the last 4ish years. And I used to talk to anyone about it, but I do that less and less now. One of my closest friends is so resistant to it, and funny enough he’s the most tech savvy person I know! In the past year I had 3 instances where I brought it up in convo with old friends and new acquaintances, and the reaction was so hostile! I think some of that is ppl being angry they missed out in part… idk. But anyway, yea it’s kind of a rift between me and one of my oldest friends. But I’m kinda at the point in my BTC journey where I believe opting out of the fiat/ debt/ credit creation banking system as it stands is a moral imperative tbh. American society is so out of whack between inflation/healthcare/housing/education… and that’s being brief, but I see the compromised monetary system at the core of it all. Talking politics without talking about money is like talking about plumbing without talking about water. And Americans love to talk politics. Anyway yea my BTC conviction has caused rifts in my relationships. Curious of others stories around this.

Refinancing principal

Hey I’m interested in loan with option to rollover principal with refinance at maturity. I have the impression Strike does allow refinancing this way. Is it possible through both “monthly payments” and “payment at maturity” options in the workflow? Or is there more to it I should be aware of? Thanks
