dlshsi or uphsd las pinas
dlshsi or uphsd? same course (medtech/mls)
Hi! I’m eligible to enroll in both DLSMHSI (HSI) and UPHSD/Perpetual Las Pinas for MedTech (BSMLS in HSI), and I’m having a hard time choosing.
For context:
\- I live near UPHSD - Las Pinas, so it’s much more convenient for me. (I live in Las Pinas)
\- DLSMHSI is around 1 to 1.5 hours away from my house. If I choose HSI, I’ll most likely drive daily instead of dorming. However, my parents are willing to to fund my dorm if driving everyday is a hassle.
My long-term goal is to pursue med school and become a doctor after finishing MedTech. Although I will take the licensure for RMT also.
Tuition isn’t my biggest concern since my parents are willing to support me, but I still want to be practical since med school is expensive and I know this is a long journey financially and mentally.
I’m mainly considering:
\- quality of MedTech/BSMLS program
\- board exam preparation/passing rates
\- environment/culture/workload
\- network
\- which school is better preparation for med school
+and other factors I may have forgotten
For those from HSI or Perpetual (or know people from either), which school would you recommend and why?
