We’re flying from the UK to Singapore late December to middle of Jan, we have just under 3 weeks in total.

Looking for sugguestions of places to visit that are easy travel from Singapore.

We’ve previously been to Bali (and Nusa Islands), Thailand (Koh Samui, Krabi, Phuket), Vietnam (most of the big tourist locations). I’m been to Malaysia & Sri Lanka (but my husband hasn’t). I’ve also been to Batam off Singapore.

We’re early 30s, no children and would like a high standard of accommodation. Probably want a bit of a mix of adventure and chill. We’re not big party people. Ideally looking for a gorgeous beach / relaxing section for one location. We really like the vibe of Bali with chilled beach clubs, coffee shops and gorgeous restaurants but we’re looking for somewhere a bit less touristy now (I know we are also tourists!!).

Places I’ve considered Komodo or Shumba Island, potentially Philippines or langkawi.

Please send any advice or suggestions!

We recently purchased a new house in SW19, and came down one morning to find a lot of our belongings had been nibbled. After buying every mouse trap south west London had to offer, over a period of two weeks, we discovered a fox had been climbing up to our second floor window and running riot around the house every night!!

We’ve lived in London for 10 years so well aware how common foxes are, and how unafraid they are, but this seemed like nothing I’d ever heard of! Has anyone else experienced this? (Needless to say, the 2nd floor windows are now not fully open at night!)
