This is my Visit number 6 to Lanka
Traditional Korean Vibes in Bukchon Hanok Village, Seoul [OC]
denied visa, but can now travel visa-free
Last year I applied for and was denied a tourist visa to a certain country, X. No explanation was given but there is a stamp of the refusal in the last page of my passport. Recently, a 30 day visa-free travel policy has been put into effect there for citizens of my country. I lived in country X for several years and, after I left, obtained a police clearance certificate showing that I have no crimes against my name there. Is there any reason why I shouldn't avail myself of the visa-free policy to visit the country this year?
Highlights of my Last Trip to Minami Aso near Kumamoto, Kyushu
I had a wonderful trip to the beautiful area of Minami Aso in Kyushu. It's a close to the volcanic region of Aso and it's so underrated! The best would be to rent a car to explore it. You can go to Kumamoto first for example and start your road trip from there.
I give you few tips and cool places to visit in my Aso Travel Guide.
My Hotel Room in Tokyo | Beautiful or Intimidating..?
This hotel in Tokyo features artistic rooms where Japanese local artists come to paint directly on the walls. Each artist will paint only on one room, making each rooms unique.
Would you stay in these types of artist rooms or it's a bit too much for you.? FYI, this was the Otafuku room in reference of a popular figure in Japanese folklore representing good fortune and joy.
If you want to check more rooms, I booked the hotel here.
Hanok Maeul Village in Jeonju, South Korea
Jeonju was one of my favorite city during my trip to Korea and for 2 reasons! One, it's a foodie destination with so many amazing restaurants and it's actually the birthplace of Bibimbap, my favourite korean dish.
Two, it has a gorgeous hanok village that you can see in the picture above.
I give you tips on the best things to do in Jeonju here!
A local NUS student will plan your entire Singapore trip for free, here's whyy
Last year, a friend visited me from overseas. She'd spent hours reading travel blogs and came with a list of "must-dos."
Every single one was a tourist trap. Overpriced. Overcrowded. Not the Singapore I know and love.
That trip made me realise: **the real Singapore is invisible to most visitors.** The $3 chicken rice that'll change your life. The rooftop spot locals use for sunsets. The MRT hack that saves you an hour.
So I started helping strangers plan their trips — and it's been incredible.
Here's what I offer:
✅ Full custom itinerary (day by day, based on YOUR interests)
✅ Local food recommendations at every price point
✅ Best photo spots as a photographer myself
✅ Transport + budget accommodation advice
✅ Available to answer questions during your trip
Price: Free. A tip after your trip if you loved it — but zero pressure.
If you're visiting Singapore soon and want to see it like a local, drop me a DM or comment below with your dates. Let's make your trip unforgettable. 🇸🇬

During my Trip to Bentota in Sri Lanka
The countryside of Bentota was so enjoyable and you could find beautiful scenery. I recommend you to explore its surroundings with a scooter and wander here and there.

The Gorgeous Lotus Lake in Kaohsiung, Taiwan
I took this picture near the massive Xuanwu Emperor Statue at Lotus Lake in Kaohsiung, and honestly the scale of it surprised me in real life. Standing right below it makes you feel tiny. I really liked how the dark clouds and dramatic sky behind the statue gave the whole place a mysterious atmosphere.
The details on the statue itself are also pretty impressive when you get closer, especially the sword and the dragon elements around it. Definitely one of the most striking places I visited in Kaohsiung.
