Help Interpreting Results

Hi everyone! I just had my 2nd failed egg retrieval (age 30)

Cycle 1: 13 eggs, all mature, 4 fertilized normally/6 abnormally (all 3PN), 0 blasts

Cycle 2 (ICSI and zymot): 28 eggs, 21 mature, 7 fertilized normally/3-0PN,11 3PN, 0 blasts (1 day 6 Morula)

My clinic discards all of the 3PN. However they were 3PN with 2 polar bodies. In my very preliminary research this seems very strange. How can I interpret this and advocate for myself if possible?

Need Success Stories and Advice

My husband (30) and I (30) just got terrible news regarding our first egg retrieval. I had 13 eggs, all mature. We found out 4 fertilized normally, 6 abnormally, and 0 made it to blast. I have had normal blood levels and AMH for my age. My husband has low 3% morphology. About 2.5 months prior to ER I had surgery to remove fibroids and a fallopian tube. During surgery, they also found I had Endo stage 1 and they removed it.

We are going to change a lot for our next retrieval which we are waiting a few months for. We will do ICSI and zymot which I advocated for, an HCG trigger (did Lupron this time) and an estrogen lead in.

looking to see if anyone had thoughts on why attrition was so poor. My husband and I are both very healthy, and I’m not understanding these results. Also if anyone had similar first results and went on to have later success, I could really use some hope right now!
