I usually am not the kind of strategy game player, however, I'd like to buy (a new) one.
Years, years ago I was playing games like ANNO, which I liked a lot, or The Settlers and games like that.
Games like Frostpunk I think are really awesome, but "too much" for what I am looking, if that makes sense? Also Baldurs Gate (RPG, yes, but very strategic in battle, I think) is more on the "too much" side.
However, it shouldn't be just a silly dull "farming simulation". My wife currently plays the small mobile game "Plague Inc.", which she really likes, maybe there is something like that (in terms of "weight", not necessary in terms of theme) out there?
And since I really don't know, which games nowadays would fill "my spot", I am asking you for advice ;)
