Would a double half bridge sstc work reliably?

I'm building an sstc based on the cd4046 inspired by uhvlab's and teslaista555's design. In both of their designs, they are using a double full bridge configuration with 8x irfp460's. I'm wondering if I can replicate something similar with a double half bridge with 4x irfp460's. I am aware I could build a regular fullbridge, but I'm not sure if I could push the same amount of current through the mosfets as the irfp460 has a high rds on. I am also planning to design a pcb for it. This is my design so far:

ps: My goal is to make a nice performing sstc that works as reliably and efficiently as possible so I am trying to achieve ZCS with the cd4046

Can't figure out how to level shift signal for making a discrete gate driver

I'm building a half bridge sstc, with a cd4046, flip flops, And gates and interrupted by an attiny designed for ~200-250khz. I have used the ucc27425 and other gate drive ics' before but its hard to source and takes a long time to get delivered where I'm located. Hence, I'm trying to build my own gate driver with a bjt totem pair and a mosfet stage, but it only works on 12v input signal. I'm worried a 12v schmidt trigger like the cd40106 will introduce too much propagation delay. Is it possible for me to modify the circuit somehow, or should I just go with a gate drive ic?

edit: Tiny correction, the bjt's and the mosfets are supposed to be connected to 12v

Study Permit timeline

I applied on 30th June, got my passport request on 14th July. Biometrics and Medical were done previously for a prior application. I'm also applying from India.

Undergraduate (CE) at UWaterloo. Funding provided through parents primarily.

How do I study

I'll be starting CE this fall and wanna make the most of my summer. What should I study and how should I study it to (1) make first-year coursework easier and (2) be competitive for co-ops?. I already have experience with python and js. I have also started learning C and algorithms. I've looked at the required courses for 1A and 1B but I can't find good study material to start. I need recommendations on textbooks or other resources that I can use.

Need help in figuring out course difficulty as an international student

I need help from my fellow international waterloo engineering students. I am a student from India, graduated with a 96.2% (CBSE) and I'm worried the course I'm taking (computer engineering) might be too difficult for me to handle. I've heard about people online talking about dropouts and the course difficulty. For reference, I'm passionate about engineering. I love phys and math and I've been making eng projects for many years, even got featured on the Times of India for some of them as a child. I did not do particularly well in the eng exams here in India(95.7 percentile in Mains) so I'm trying to figure out how the academic rigor scales in comparison to HS or to JEE prep for example.
