Thermal Fan Suggestions

Hello! Does anyone have any suggestions for a thermal fan for my fireplace insert? There is no "top" where I can sit a fan. I did purchase one that is meant to be around a round, metal chimney and I can get it to work by hanging it with wires.

I would really like to find one that is made for a flat stove face. It could clip over a lip, as that's where I was able to thread wire... But something that is actually made for this would be safer.

I spent a lot of time looking awhile ago and I don't know if I'm just not using the right search words or if something like this just doesn't exist! Thanks for any help.

Keith Plays a Porn Game- Smoking...

"Remember, if you smoke after sex, you're doing it too fast."

Was anybody else thoroughly entertained that the four of them interpreted this quote as smoking a cigarette instead of as the friction joke that it is?

I got such great laughs out of the first two new episodes and can't wait for more!

Dislocated knee and problems with Quad

Hey everyone!

TLDR: left knee dislocated 8 months ago, still having issues with quad

I am pretty well versed on my legs. I've had seven surgeries on my right leg (including one for a dislocating knee), I've broken both ankles, I've had hardware put in and taken out, I have cement in a bone, and I've had tendons, ligaments, and bones worked on. That being said, I cannot figure out what's going on with my knee now.

In October 2025, I dislocated my left knee and it took several minutes to pop back in. I felt a large wrenching on the outside of my knee. I went to Urgent Care and they took an X-ray and said everything looked normal. I saw an ortho and he said he saw no reason for an MRI based on more x-rays. I spent 97 days going from crutches, to a walker, to a cane. I had little pain, but a lot of weakness. My knee never dislocated again. I started PT in January and finished 17 weeks of it in April. I also finally had an MRI in April because I was frustrated on the length of time healing was taking. These are the notes from the MRI my ortho focused on:

IMPRESSION:

  1. Abnormal signal throughout the peripheral 1/3 of the posterior horn and body of the medial meniscus. This exits the periphery of the meniscus near the junction of the body and posterior horn consistent with a peripheral tear. No displaced meniscal fragments.

  2. Tendinosis of the proximal patellar tendon.

  3. Mild patellofemoral and medial compartment chondromalacia. 4. Small popliteal cyst.

  4. Patellofemoral maltracking measurements, as above.

My ortho performed a test to see if my meniscus was torn and he doesn't think it is. My PT and my ortho both agree I'm at 90% healed and I will get to 100% as long as I continue my PT.

Here's why I'm posting: almost eight months later, I still cannot stand straight on my left leg. If my knee is slightly bent, I have no problem. Neither my ortho or PT had any concern over this. I should say I was very happy with my PT (and I've been through a lot of it, so I'm picky) and not very happy with my ortho. I also still feel like something is amiss in my quad. I lost a lot of feeling to it that began to finally come back in late March. I don't know how to properly explain it, but it just feels like it's sticking out somehow. Like there's an extra throb there every step I take. I had a lot of tingling in there immediately after the injury and then when I stood on it for too long, but that has subsided. I never had any of these issues the times that my right knee dislocated pre-surgery.

Does anyone have an idea on why I can't fully stand straight on my leg? Has anyone had their quad feel so strange for so long?

Thanks so much for reading!
