Should Sakura be more fallible in Clear Card season 2?

So I've been thinking while I think Clear Card did a decent job with Sakura's characterisation I found both the manga and the first season of the anime to have a problem with dramatic tension in the supernatural adventure aspects and it never really felt like Sakura was in any danger ever.

But I also understand part of this was showing both how she's more experienced and how powerful she's grown. So if season 2 ever gets made I have to wonder if it would be possible to make her more fallible (and thus help the dramatic tension) than she was in the corresponding part of the manga and season1 of the anime, without undermining the idea that this is a more competent and powerful Sakura.

Was anyone hear at the Annecy panel?

I know it's a long shot, but I'm mainly asking if we can get any more details, than just the rolodex of bullet points the news sources put out.

I think people need to stop insisting there will be a time skip

From what we know Jessica is just starting high school at the start of her show, which would make her around 14 at the start of it's events.

Jessica does look that age in her MAWS cameo when you compare her to the other kid characters, she is quite clearly older than the Newskid Legion.

So this idea that Jessica is getting some massive time skip or is going to be closer to comic Jessica's age is just copeium from people who don't like kid Jessica as a concept. She looks a little older in the teaser image but that is more than likely down to the show having a slightly different art style.

Am I the only one who doesn't hate the concept of the upcoming anime?

Like don't get me wrong I'm not not all that confident it will be good given the track record of prior attempts at Godzilla anime, but any misgivings I have are down to that track record than me really having an issue with the concept itself.

As for the concept, I think it's a pretty neat spin off idea. And at the end of the day it's always been a prevalent concept in fan works of Godzilla so there must be some desire for it among the fandom.
