An interesting 2027 NFL Mock Draft from the pro football network. 13th overall we select Drake Lindsey, QB out of the Minnesota. One year of Murray then back to QB draft pool 😄 it's one of our own too

Drake Lindsey, Minnesota | QB

With Kyler Murray on a one-year contract and J.J. McCarthy’s future uncertain, the Minnesota Vikings could take a quarterback next year. In this exercise, they take in-state prospect Drake Lindsey.

Lindsey has an ideal 6-foot-5, 230-pound build. In 2025, he became the starter for Minnesota. He had a solid stat line with a 63.2% completion percentage, 2,382 passing yards, and 18 touchdowns to just 6 interceptions. To boot, he had another 4 touchdowns on the ground.

Lindsey’s best trait is his big arm. Anticipate an excellent upcoming season from Lindsey in which he plays himself into being a first-rounder

In the recent top 10 QB rankings by NFL executives and coaches, JJ McCarthy was an honorable mention by some ahead of this year because of his late season spark.

Offensive Lines preseason composite rankings using various sources including a former Browns NFL scout. Do you agree with our ranking ? Seems like the media analysts may be higher on our offensive line than the fanbase itself 👀

The JJ McCarthy hype was real last summer during this time. He had a high projected TD line and was ranked 12th best QB in the league by a fox sports analyst 😈 maybe the preseason games helps get us back there
