He died in like 10 seconds it was so funny kfqkgad, At 4 seconds he almost lost half health, at 6 seconds he had like, I think it was 485 health? Only two of my guys survived but worth it, Seafaring best talent. It was also REALLY funny because once the fight started the Vice Captain goes "You... you've escaped the Navy's grasp for too long, you pay for your crimes NOW" and then the boss was two hits away from death like instantly, Vice Captain Lang my goat

Decided to check usage stats of my main team and overall was pretty shocked at how little I had in common with most of the other users of my silly little guys, most of the moves/items I used weren't even on the list

Saw the new season hadn't started yet, decided to look at the shop and then uhhh this lmao

I ACTUALLY HIT MASTERBALL WITH 5 DAYS OF SEASON 1 LEFT AFTER SEVERAL MATCHES OF HORRIBLE PLAYS/MATCHUPS, AND THE WINNING BATTLE ENDED IN A 2V1 BEFORE IT WAS MEOWSCRADA VS INCINEROAR CAT V CAT, ONE HIT WAS DEATH AND BOTH OF US HAD QUICK CLAW. I BOUGHT THE BATTLEPASS WITH SOME GIFT MONEY TO CELEBRATE WHEEEEE. My adrenaline was SO high like, the past 10 games I did mvsjksncsc

So how I did it! Leading Espathra and Hisuian Zoroark 99.99% of the time, Lumina Crash + Hyper Voice is my usual opener(unless theres a high priority target), it tends to gurantee a KO on most Pokemon as long as the followup attack is Neutral, sometimes I'd have to just sack Hisiuan Zoroark and Protect with Espathra though :(. But thats ok! I tended to disguise it as Sneaslr or Slurpuff to draw enemy focus/fool them into using the wrong moves, From there if one of my leads fainted in goes Slurpuff, the tanky Steel counter(Steel Absorbing Berry and Flamethrower does wonders) with nice spread and healing, or Sneaslr lacking Fake Out, turn one Protect throws people off, and Poison Touch has come in handy a lot. Meowscrada and Furfrou are here as flexes! Nobody ever expects Healing Meowscrada or Hyper Voice/Surf Furfrou. Very rarely did my strategy change, just pray I get two attacks off before my usually much smarter and stronger enemies pick up steam.

Going in I already knew I wasn't really terribly good, and I knew that wanting to just use Pokemon I like would hamstring me, I never expected to get past Great Ball and honestly I'm slightly emotional having made it this far with my second favorite Pokemon(Espathra) as my lead(my fav is Watchog, but I think I woulda stayed in Greatball forever if I was trying to use Watchog lol)

Asshole tank, loaded in to an in-progress dungeon that was just him, he goes "welcome to your doom" and stands there when I try to fight the two adds, curses at me and says they never learn, healer joins, he tries to say I was the problem player, refuses to pull cause it's "scary", attempts to paint me and the healer as the bad guy to the new dps that joins, pulls and then does nothing to let the enemies kill us, just awful. Came all the way from a big dc just to be a nuisance in Dynamis DF
