Hey all,

I'm considering getting a 13 pro. I value the most for my needs a quiet and long battery life version of the laptop. I'm planning to use Linux. Either mint or Ubuntu

From the research I got that the 13 was better with AMD version for it, and I wonder if with the 13 pro would be the same.

Performance is not prio for me, since I'm will not run or compile anything serious. But silence and life battery is important for me.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Around 10 years ago I used to be a huge google fan. I wouldn’t miss a keynote.

For the past couple of years the google’s (and Apple’s for what it’s worth) innovation is just disappointing.

I really couldn’t give 2 sh!ts about those AI features.

Overal I just feel motivated to invest more and more in degoogle eco-systems.

I just hope google doesn’t keep pushing for anti consumer policies that eliminates their competitors (degoogled roms).

Big tech companies really suck atm. Nothing exciting comes out of them
