Attention all gate agents! Does it not infuriate you to no end when passengers shamelessly hand out gift cards, snacks, and presents to the flight attendants—while you, the one actually busting your behind, are left empty-handed? It’s downright aggravating! Us as gate agents are slogging through the chaos, trying to coordinate the manifest on those passengers’ flights—yet somehow, no one thinks to acknowledge our hard work! And let’s not forget, after five or more gates in a single stretch with ZERO breaks, with not a moment to jot down notes because the next plane is already rolling onto the taxiway—do they even care? I consider myself a remarkably patient and kind gate agent, but honestly, it’s maddening that I never, ever get a single gift from the passengers. Anyone else experiencing this frustration ? Or is it just me lol
