European Festivals

I went to Night Of The Prog festival at Loreley for 15 years straight (minus covid years). It was the highlight of my year. I really miss this festival. The summer feels empty the last two years after they decided to stop the festival…

I want you to write down some great european prog festivals. Give me anything! It does not have to be summer. Anything is of interest. I feel like I need a prog festival in mye life 😂

Arthur Brown

Sometimes, you go to a concert without expecting very much. You just show up and hope to have a good time. And sometimes those concerts shows out to be one of the best you have ever seen.

This weekend I went to a festival in Norway. The Crazy World of Arthur Brown played on saturday. He is 84 years old, and I know he is kind of a legend. So I went there to witness what this old man could do at his age.

MAN, it is one of the best concerts I have ever seen. His voice, his energy his costumes, and most of all the music and his band! I have listened to his albums non stop the last two days, and I do not understand why I did not listen to him before??? Anyone here who have seen him?

Norwegian looking for a Scottish team to follow

I am kind of desperate here. I have always loved football, but FIFA is killing my joy. I hate the modern game. F*uck VAR, corruption and all that bullshit thing FIFA do to kill the beautiful game.

As many norwegians, I have followed English Premier League for many years. After the Norway - England game, I do not wanna follow PL anymore. The English fans turned out to be total bastards after that corrupt game with the now famous spidercam-gate and wrongly disallowed VAR goal for Norway.

I need football in my life. But I am afraid my interest will die out because of what rich corrupt men in suits are doing to our lovely sport.

Therefore I have a huge question for you guys! I love scottish fans and your culture. I wanna find a team in the Premiership, or lower scottish leagues to follow. I will travel over to attend games maybe 3-4 times a season.

My criterias:
- Great atmosphere at the stadium
- Great pub culture before and after the game
- Trophies and success are NOT important. I am there for having a great time, watching the sport I love.
- If the supporters are usually against modern football and VAR, it will be a plus for me.
- A norwegian/viking connection is a plus, but not a must

Wich team should I support? Any team will be good for me, except Celtic or Rangers

EDIT: I should add that I of course follow the Norwegian league. But it kind of sucks. Half full stadiums, no real atmosphere and the teams are shit. I have no real local team.

Norway feel your love!

Tartan Army, my favorite fans! I had the pleasure to party with you in Germany at the Euros 2024. Still the best week of my life!

Today we feel your love and strength. Our shared viking blood will together send England home.

I am currently listening to my playlist with a mix of norwegian and scottish football songs! I will forever accept that Norwegian fans are number 2, cause we can never beat you guys! Pure fun and joy!

No Scotland, No Party, and enjoy the party when we win tonight! 🇳🇴🤝🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Dear England

Greetings from Norway! I have always loved english football. I have never witnessed my team in a World Cup. Not even the Euros. Therefore, I have always rooted for England. I grew up with The Premier League, and I still follow PL more than any other league. This is very common in Norway. Norwegians love England and english football. Me and my friend have travelled to England many times to watch football. All from top PL games to League 2 games, and even some National League. We love your football culture. Pre match drinks, singing with the locals and the friendly banter inside the stadium, often spontaneously funny chants. I really love you guys!!

Suddenly, Norway have a good team. Suddenly we are a deal. Saturday will be the first time I wont root for you guys. But I still love you! May the best team win 🇳🇴🤝🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Norway roots for you

This whole Balogun situation makes me so angry! You should know that all of Norway (and probably the world) roots for you tonight. I am worried about the future of football. But getting rid of USA from the world cup would be a great win for us all! Come on Belgium!!!
