Anyone else using AI ads to test hooks before paying for UGC?

So I've been testing AI video ads for our shop and honestly I think I was kinda going about it wrong at first.

Keep trying to make one perfect 15 sec ad, then wasting credits and right fixing every janky hand or tiny logo drift that nobody would even notice in the feed.

Lately I've just been keeping the same product ref in Framia and making a few different versions instead. different hooks, scenes, ways of showing the product. way less pressure to make every clip perfect.

The image to video ai makes a lot way more sense to me now. I can figure out which idea actually clicks before dumping more time into it or getting a real creator to shoot it properly.

Anyone else mostly using AI for testing creatives now?
