Thoughts on different styles? Traditional vs fine line/micro realism

I am getting a bit self conscious/not sure if I like how I’ve gone different styles with my legs/arms.

I’m curious what the community thinks.

Left Arm:
- micro realism/fine line
- two large pieces + 2 smaller pieces
- few appointments on the calendar to fill out more

Right arm:
- empty
- plan to fill out with fine line/MR patch sleeve or maybe do a full sleeve. Haven’t decided

Left leg:
- few small black & white traditional pieces, may color them in
- plan to fill out with same color scheme traditional

Right leg:
- almost full
- patchy sleeve - some big pieces, some smaller pieces
- traditional style, but not traditional coloring. I’ve called it “trippy traditional” from how it looks, but there’s probably a better name for it

I have used a bunch of different artists as I’ve moved around a lot

I’m working with a more regular artist now for my legs and I’m going to finalize some filler on my right leg and then get the same artist to do my whole left leg in classic traditional color.

I’m thinking about doing micro realism/fine line on both of my arms and try to have my lower extremities all traditional, while my upper extremities will be FL/MR

Would this look stupid? I’m getting self conscious and now I don’t think adding traditional to my arms would look good with my fine line/micro realism but would love some thoughts/input/constructive criticism

I love both styles, and I’ve thought it would be fun to wear sleeves and shorts to show off my traditional and vice versa with pants and short sleeves to show my newer styles but when wearing shorts and short sleeves, I almost feel stupid with my pieces contrasting each other. I almost feel even more stupid for letting this self consciousness impact me enough to post this too lmfao

Would love some feedback! Thanks folks

100k cash balance - what to do?

I am in the process of rebalancing my portfolio from a bunch of slop + sold a shit ton of ESPP so I have about 100k I have ready to deploy

Would it be silly to dump it all at once and just get in the market with a better, long term strategy? Should I be holding more cash? DCA’ing the 100k over a few months?

I’m either going all in on $VT or going $FXAIX & $FZILX with a small touch of bonds

I have my 10 month rainy day fund in a HYSA, so I’m set there. I have about 3k/m I have carved out to invest every month to continue DCAing

I am 32 if that has any impact on a full deployment strategy. Thanks friends

Dessert / Sweet Treats

My wife and I have a sweet tooth and like to have something every night. I know it’s something we should try to fix, but in the mean time….

Has anyone found a high volume/lower calorie dessert that actually satiates them?

Everyone’s calorie counter is different - so throw some of your ideas out regardless of calorie size!

First Run - Chuck Roast

First run with my traeger. Not my best work, but turned out very tasty. Chuck Roast - “brisket style”

I was rushed at the end and didn’t have butcher paper to wrap and let it sit, so I let is sit in foil.

A little dry, but it tasted really good.

Judge My Holdings

Hello All,

I have been investing for the last 10 years and I have gone through plenty of phases; safe, risking, thinking I was a day trader (COVID times), and whatever else. I am not a pro, but have the basic and broad understanding of how it works and what I should be doing long term to compound and create safe growth for myself.

My wife works for a company that limits my ability to trade whenever I want, for whatever I want and we are held to compliance checks with my holdings, so I have gotten extremely vanilla in my investing and can really only do ETFs/mutual funds comfortably.

I am okay with the vanilla investing, but I feel like my holdings are all over the place and I am not sure if I have my money in the right place and not sure what I should do going forward to clean my holdings up and have a better structure/move forward plan.

I would love some input if this is the right place to ask for it. I will take the feedback and then in turn do my own research and figure out if I need to do some consolidation with my holdings or keep letting these ride.

Below is my current snapshot and a few pieces of information

- I am 32

- I put $2,000, bi-monthly into the below investing account holdings.

- 25% of my portfolio is in one company that I work for. I get a 15% ESPP and it is up about 200% and I think I need to sell half of it and let the other half ride.

- FBND
