I have the BJ3 and have been looking for a Joetissie. On FB marketplace an XL Green Egg rotisserie popped up at a decent price.

Google tells me that they each fit each other well enough, but I haven't found any decent comparisons about the differences between the two and if one is better than the other

While waiting for the gif support update, I just set mine to a nice picture of a deer by the lake, matches my property well.

new owner of an 4712

first thing - I need a new rack my 15u startech isn't deep enough. What depth of rack do I really need? 30"?
These have been a dog to find, to be honest. Does anyone have some link suggestions for me? I only would need something like 15U to 25U, nothing that is 10feet tall..

second question;

one of the hotswap SATA tabs is broken, exposing the pins basically. I have the sata plug connected, but it's obviously quite vulnerable and prone to disconnects this way. Is there a way to replace the hotswap sata/power coupling?? Looking closely at it, it seems to be sandwiched in there and riveted together, which is my fear...

Who else has been waiting for this? Does anyone have an inside scoop on any rumours? I thought they might have been waiting for the ALIRO standard but now I don't know.

This project of mine happened to end up being one of the most frustrating ones yet.

5 ESP32s burnt, and 4 DRV8871s breakout boards replaced...

All on the same breadboard wiring system. Ok maybe 1 of those ESPs i accidentally fried by touching ground and high where I shouldn't have. but seriously, every single "cheap" DRV8871 I tried would not pull the 2nd OUT to ground ever. I was using a LiFePO4 battery - none of them would pull to ground. Most of them would go 13.5v high on both - Even when I did a simple test of 3.3v on IN1 and low on IN2.

The most recent one I got on amazon was a few bucks more, but had good reviews. What do you know? It worked perfectly. Exact same wiring set up. Gad.
