Shockwave 590s Light and/or laser experiences

I've been looking into the best options to add a light and laser (combo or separate) to a Mossberg 590s Shockwave. I've researched various options and, so far, it seems they all have certain drawbacks. Below are some of the options that I have looked at to date. The laser/light is just what I have chosen to fit my use case as a home defense firearm that'll allow me to both shoot out in front of my eyeline (push/pull), or if the situation dictates, shoot from the hip and various other angles with the laser site. If you don't believe in, or like a laser on a shockwave or any shotgun, that's cool but I'm just looking for experiences or knowledge around adding them both to it. Home defense in an apartment building and I'll be using mostly 12ga #4 Buck shorty shells, which allows the Shockwave to hold 8 shells. These shells are really manageable and create minimal recoil compared to std shells. Just in case anyone isn't aware, the S designation in the 590s means it comes with a shorty shell adapter installed into the action, don't need to put a rubber adapter in each time. Options I've looked at so far:

  1. Crimson Trace lase saddle w/TLR RM1 light mounted to the magazine tube just forward of the end of the forend,(where my hand will be). The laser mounted to the receiver is definitely a positive. My worries are the coordination under stress of working two different switches and the pump action and that the light might be affected too much by the recoil power.

  2. Crimson Trace laser saddle with the TL Racker forend (light only). Same concern with multiple switches and settings under stress.

  3. Nightstick forend light AND laser. I thought this would be the winner, but when I went to install it, it does not fit over the 590s mag tube. The 590s has a thicker barrel/tube. Nightstick doesn't show that on their site where they list incompatible models.

  4. Just mounting a TLR RM1 light and laser mounted at the top of the mag tube as in the 1st option above with a GG&G mount. I'm not sure how well the laser component would hold zero or even hold up at all with the 12ga recoil. I have a setup like this w/the light only TRL RM1 mounted this way on my Mav 88 and it's held up pretty well, but not sure on the laser component.

If you've stuck with me through this long ass post, I appreciate it and want to hear your opinions and experiences, good and bad. Thanks all!

Is there a waiting period before a Pawn Shop can re-sell a firearm after buying it (not pawning)?

I'm not familiar with any pawn shop regulations in Va, or anywhere really. If I sell (not pawn) an AR pistol to a pawn shop, is there any sort of waiting period before they can then re-sell it. My example: went in to one yesterday and asked if they'd be interested in making an offer and he said something to the effect of 'he'd have to hold it for 2 weeks and that'd be at/too close to the deadline'. But then later told me to bring it in anyway and he'll take a look at it. I'm trying to determine if this is a negotiating tactic to provide a low, low offer (even lower that normal pawns) because he "might get stuck with it". Or is it a legit concern with July 1st looming? I understand they need to make money, have overhead, and business in general and I plan to negotiate in good faith understanding that. Just want to see whether he is. Every time I'm in there, they're being bought out of their ban-affected inventory so unless there is some sort of regulation, I don't think he'd have a problem selling it for a good price by July 1st.
