Hi,

Suggestions for a dog activity tracker? I was about to buy Fi but saw mixed reviews. The main thing putting me off is that it’s not a pedometer for the steps and route but rather an AI generated based off the route. eg a dog running around in circles gets the same route and steps logged as one walking on a straight line.

I’ve just seen PitPat… looks good?

What about Tractive? I had one many years ago but I think they’ve progressed a lot since.

I’ve seen this collar for a long time but it wasn’t available in the UK, which i’ve just seen it now is!

What are your thoughts on pros and cons?

My main want in getting this is for more activity tracking. I love the, active movement, sleep, rest, barking, licking, scratching, eating, and drinking habits. But I thought I saw people said that wasn’t very accurate. Your view?

for context, my dog has been in and out of the vets for the past 6 months, now we are off all anti allergy medication due to allergic reactions to them, he was dehydrated and was walking much less due to injured paws… all the things I think this tracking would help me take with some insights for the animal hospital
